Holi revellers were pleasantly surprised to recieve a phone call from BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Sunday. The call had a recorded message wishing voters on the occasion of Holi.
In the recorded message, the Gujarat chief minister appeals to voters to change India's fate in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
He termed the voters as "bhagya vidhata" (fate makers) of India and asked them to bring colour into their lives while greeting citizens on the festival of Holi.
Modi's message appealed to the citizens to pledge a bright future for India.
Modi said the country is already drowned in the colours of election, which is a great festival for democracy. He asked the citizens to participate in the festival of democracy and change India's fate.
The message has also been uploaded on Narendra Modi's official website.
