Bathukamma and Dasara Sambaralu Celebration at Scottsdale, AZ

On Saturday; Sep 23rd 2017, we had yet another successful celebration of our cultural heritage and unity in diversity, by our very own Arizona Telangana Association and Telangana American Telugu Association. Bathukamma is a cultural icon of Telangana and we are proud to share the success of this celebration with the participation of a large number of Indians from our community.

Bathukamma being the floral festival of Hindu women of Telangana, the entire ambiance smelled floral, colored vibrat in bright blossoms depicting the true spirit of Telangana. Dasara Sambaralu is observed on the last day of Navratra which is all about celebrating the triumph of good over evil and victory of Lord Rama. From early evening until late night, the entire Indian community shared the joy and auspice of this holy celebration of both the festivals from Hindu Cultural Heritage of India.

Specially the children dressed in vivacious traditional Indian outfits circling around the floral arrangements to cherish our fraternal vibes and our rich ethnic heritage whilst highlighting unity in diversity. Families came together and captured their celebratory vibes and blessings, building strong and lasting memories. Colorful and vibrant portrait captures of families from the evening and some mesmerizing dances around the Floral arrangements would remain in our hearts and minds for long. The drone footage captured the most scintillating of images from the celebration which marked another feather in the cap of AZTGA.

Our Esteemed Committee members Ms Jyothi Reddy, Ms Lavanya Pamu, Mr Somesh, Mr Anjal, Mr Praveen and Mr Janardhan yet again brought us a wonderful opportunity to share our rich Indian cultural heritage and unity with this auspicious and pious celebration. Specially the true vibrant Indian Youth dressed up in sparkling colors depicting who we are and what we stand for; Unity in Diversity.
