A woman was sexually assaulted by a man she met on a dating app at Scottsdale parking garage. This incident took place on Oct 1 in a parking garage at Scottsdale Fashion Square near Scottsdale and Camelback roads.

Police were reported by the victim about this incident. The victim told police that she met Fabiano Niyongabo, 20-year-old through a dating app Tinder. After chatting for a couple of weeks they agreed to meet in person.

When she reached first-floor parking garage, Fabiano pulled up his car and asked her to get in to grab some found. They talked in the car for a while before he grabbed her and pushed her in the back seat and assaulted her.

After 30 minutes, he released her and fled in his car. Surveillance video footage in the parking garage has showed victim getting into his car and leaving it, but didn’t show what happened in the car.

Police said that suspect sent an apology text to the victim and he was arrested on Oct. 13 In Glendale and he is being held without bond on charges of sexual assault, abuse and kidnapping.
