Arizona Educators end protest officially, after Gov Ducey signed education bills

The Arizona Educators United (AEU), has officially announced, that “We will return to our schools”, suggesting that its end of their walkout on educational funding.
President of Arizona Educators United (AEU) , Joe Thomas and President of National Education Association Lily Esklsen, told in a joint statement that, "When we started this movement, Arizona educators pledged to keep fighting for the schools their students deserve until the end, and we were true to our word," they also added saying that
"We will return to our schools, classrooms, and students knowing that we have achieved something truly historic. We should take pride in what we have accomplished, and in the movement that we have created together."
The efforts made my lawmakers, who worked all through Wednesday night and then continued till Thursday morning, to get the education funding and teacher pay raise bill in the senate.
Arizona State Governor Ducey has signed the bill on early Thursday morning.
The newly resolved law has been declared after six days of teacher walkouts, influencing the schools to be closed and a week long protest in the #RedForEd Movement.
Though initially, organizing leaders, decided to call off strike and resume to classes on Thursday if the bill gets passed, but still many school districts remain closed on the sixth day, as it law makers were engaged in drafting bill through the night.
One of the largest districts of state Scottsdale, soon after the bill was passed announced that the schools would reopen on Friday, the other school districts are likely to follow the same reopening schedule.
Arizona’s Superintendent of Public Instruction, said in a statement that, “I want to commend the Legislature and the Governor for working hard, under difficult circumstances, to pass a budget that makes significant improvements for Arizona students and schools,"
Arizona Governor Ducey said that the teachers have earned a raise and also praised the legislation as ‘real win’ for both teachers and the students
Office of the Governor Doug Ducey released a STATEMENT on Thursday morning stating that the bill represents the increase of more than $1 billion for education funding, when it comes to the point of implementation.
