The major festival Maha Shivaratri is solemn and marks a remembrance of overcoming the darkness and ignorance in ones life and also in the world. Celebrate this day devotion as you chant the name of lord Shiva all the day and bring in happiness and prosperity in your lives.
The Indo- American Foundation of Arizona is organizing an event for celebrating the pious day of lord Shiva by organizing various programs which would start at 9:30 in the morning and the programs would be continued 12:00 in the midnight.
The programs that being conducted have been scheduled from 9:30 am until 12 in the midnight.
The event is scheduled to be on the 2st of February, 2020, Friday.
The Main Shivling Abhishek will be done by the devotees from 9:30 in the morning till 7:30 in the evening
Abhishek to Utsav Shivling would be done from 9:30 in the morning till 11 in the late hours.
The Maha Mrutyunjaya Homa/ Havan would be for one hour from 6:00-7:00 in the evening.
The priests will be performing Rudhrabhishek to the main Shivling at 7:30 in the evening.
The alankar and cultural programs will be performed at 8:30 in the evening.
A Maha Arathi would be performed at 9 in the evening and a special Arathi would be performed at 12 in the midnight.
The Mahaprasad would be served from 7:30 in the evening which is sponsored by Om Bistro.

The Maha Shivarathri event can be sponsored with $501 for Pramukh Yajaman, $251 for Yajaman, $101 for Mahamrutyumjaya Homa and Abhishek, $51 for Abhishek main Shivling and $31 for Abhishek for Utsav Murthy Shivling.
