Prime Minister Narendra Modi Announces financial assistance with 20 lakh crores package.

PM Modi,on Tuesday made an announcement of releasing the funds to cover up the fallen economy with the unexpected hit of the coronavirus pandemic.
The special package is for survival of labourers, migrants and poor including the organized and unorganized sectors. The newly announced package is to focus on land,labour,laws and liquidity.
PM in the meeting said that the big move is a combined decision of Indian government and RBI. 20 lakh crore touches the 10 per cent of India's GDP.
Modi also stressed on self reliance to achieve self reliance in order to pick the economy of the nation.
He said, coronavirus stays for a long time with us but our lives cannot be stuck around it. We will wear masks and we will maintain six feet distance to fight the virus.
The details about distributing the special package to each sector is not yet revealed. The Prime Minister said the Finance Minister takes over the duty of announcing the contribution to each sector.
Prior to this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the financial relief package of 1.7 lakh crore. The relief fund was for the affected sections like farmers, daily wage labourers, women. Under the same package, the government provided rice and other food grains for the needy.
A few state's chief ministers wrote to PM Modi seeking financial assistance amid COVID lockdown.

Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala reacted to Modi’s speech through twitter. He said ‘India is deeply disappointed by the Prime Minister’s lack of empathy and failure to address the issues of migrants workers'.
