Two terrorists are gunned down and a security official lost his life and nine others got injured in an encounter that took place in the Sunjwan region of Jammu today morning as per the reports. A paramilitary force personnel was killed and nine others were injured. The terrorists targeted a CISF bus that was approaching an Army camp in the outskirts of Jammu this early morning. Despite heightened security, the terrorists staged an attack. The incident took place two days before Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Samba district. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) told that a bus carrying security personnel with 15 are on their way for the morning shift.

The attack took place at 4:25 AM near Chaddha camp region. The terrorists fired at the bus. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) S P Patil got killed in the attack and two others are injured. In the counter-terror operation, two terrorists are killed as per the reports. The gunfight began after the attack. Additional Director General of Police of Jammu Mukesh Singh revealed the information about the attack. Special Operations Group and the CRPF launched the operation jointly. The terrorists were hiding in a house and the armed forces surrounded the building. The injured are being treated in Government Medical College Hospital.
