Actor Anil Kapoor '24', an Indian adaptation of the international super-hit series with the same name, has already been branded as a runaway success.

Audience have lapped up Kapoor's role, who plays Jai Singh Rathod in a role similar to Kiefer Sutherland's famous character Jack Bauer in the original series.

Moved by its success, the manufacturers of the Indian SUV Safari Storme – Tata Motors, who were also the sponsor of the series, gifted Anil a custom-made limited edition of the car — called the 'Jai Singh Rathod edition' — as a token of gratitude. The vehicle was gifted to him during his recent visit to their Pune plant.

Anil, who recently concluded the shooting of the last episode of 24, is overwhelmed. He says, "I am particularly fond of cars, but this one will hold a special place in my heart as it will take me back to all the wonderful memories associated with the show. Now that the shoot has ended, I intend to go for a long drive in this car and relive all the action in the real world."
