Legendary playback singer Manna Dey has been hospitalised once again. The singer was admitted in hospital few months ago for a chest infection and had to be put on the ventilator,  afterward he was discharged once his health improved.

It's been ten days the 94-year-old singer of classic songs like Laaga chunari mein daag, Zindagi kaisi hai paheli, Yaari hai imaan mera yaar and Babu samjho ishare was admitted again to Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bangalore due to lung infection. Reports predicted that may be the city’s increasing humidity to be the cause of the infection. It was known that Dey’s condition is stable now yet the family has asked the hospital not to issue any statements to the media.
