Anurag Kashyap, who previously praised Sandeep Reddy Vanga on social media, defended his appreciation for the film on his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap's podcast show. He stated that Vanga is straightforward and authentic, and that while some may like or dislike the film Animal, it represents a significant shift in filmmaking that will become evident in the next 5-10 years.
