The 'Jai Ho' actress Sana and her boyfriend Ismail Khan had on October 21 allegedly twisted the hands of a woman, touched her inappropriately and threatened her over an article which appeared in a newspaper last week.

The victim in her complaint has alleged that Bollywood actress Sana Khan and her boyfriend Ismail Khan molested her and indulged in criminal intimidation.

On the basis of her complaint, Sana Khan and Ismail Khan were arrested on Wednesday.

"Actress Sana Khan and her boyfriend Ismail Khan were arrested under IPC sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) following a complaint by a woman, named Poonam Khanna,"

The duo suspected that Khanna had leaked an information to the media because of which the article, which was against the two, had been published in the newspaper.

The incident had occurred in the accused's vehicle outside a hospital in suburban Andheri.
