Young and talented Shahid Kapoor owes a commercial hit for the audience as none of his films made it to the Rs 100 crore club though the actor has been critically acclaimed for his outstanding performance. He wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming movie titled Rangoon in the direction of Vishal Bharadwaj. Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut are the other lead actors in the movie. He signed his next film titled Padmavati in the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The regular shoot of the film will start in October and the actor alloted bulk dates for the film and he quoted a whopping remuneration for the movie.

As per the latest news, the actor signed his next film titled Super 30 which will be directed by his close friend Vikas Bahl. Shahid has been impressed with the script and he will hear the final draft soon. Super 30 is said to be the biopic of mathematician Anand Kumar who happenned to be behind the program Super 30 for students. The movie is expected to start rolling from the mid off next year and Phantom Films will produce the movie.
