Saif Ali Khan, the Bollywood actor, was attacked multiple times by a burglar at his home in Mumbai. The doctors who treated him said that he narrowly escaped serious injury, as the knife missed his spine by just 2 millimetres. Khan was stabbed six times, including in his neck and shoulder, at his apartment. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors removed a 2.5-inch piece of the blade from his spine after a lengthy surgery. The doctors stated that Khan is doing well, has been able to walk, and is recovering without any major issues or significant pain. He has been moved out of the intensive care unit and into a private room, with visitor access restricted for about a week due to the injury to his spine.

Saif Ali Khan arrived at the hospital covered in blood after the knife attack, but he walked in bravely like a lion, accompanied by his son Taimur. Despite his injuries, which included a deep cut on his neck, a cut on his shoulder, and a stab wound on his back, he did not use a stretcher. The hospital officials stated that he was very fortunate, as the knife wound could have caused a serious injury had it been 2 mm deeper. The Mumbai Police have formed 20 teams to apprehend the suspect, who was seen on CCTV cameras fleeing the scene. The investigation is on and several teams are working on the case.
