Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar played the lead antagonist in 2.0, a science fiction directed by Shankar and is made on a whopping budget of Rs 400 crores. Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson played the lead roles in the movie which is busy with the post-production work. Shankar wanted ample time for the post-production work because of which the release of 2.0 has been pushed from Diwali to Republic Day weekend next year. Now the latest update is that the release of 2.0 has been pushed to summer next year however the makers are yet to clarify on this.
Akshay Kumar has been roped and paid huge remuneration so that 2.0 will have a massive release in Hindi. The actor hinting that the film got postponed, he announced the release date of his next Bollywood outing Padman on the same day. Padman directed by R Balki is hitting the screens on January 26th 2018 and Sonam Kapoor, Radhika Apte are the female leads. Akshay directly hints that 2.0 is not hitting the screens as planned. The audio of 2.0 has been unveiled recently in Dubai in a lavish event.
