Former Cricketer and Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu’s comments on recent Pulwama terror attack created a lot of outrage in media.
Sidhu said that nation could not be held responsible for terrorist acts and terrorism had no religion. It was indirectly seen to be supporting Pakistan and its Prime Minister Imran Khan a long time friend of Sidhu
After Navjot Singh Sidhu comments social media users have demanded his removal from The Kapil Sharma Show.
Sony Tv under immense pressure reportedly fired Sidhu from the show and taken Archana Puran Singh. The channel runs the The Kapil Sharma Show
Kapil Sharma, the host of show finally broke his silence on this matter said that sacking sidhu is not a solution, nation needs to have a permanent solution for these kind of attacks.
The following video, shared by Navjot Singh Sidhu on his official Twitter handle with the hashtag “#IskaImpactAyegaKiNahi”, Kapil Sharma talked about the reports of the former cricketer and politician being sacked from his show.
Kapil said, “There should be a permanent solution to this problem. If sacking Sidhu Ji was a solution, then Sidhu Ji is smart enough to walk out of the show himself. So, people are being misled with hashtags like ‘#BoycottSidhu’ and ‘#BoycottKapilSharmaShow’. Right now one should focus on the genuine problem and the attention of the youth should not be taken away from the real issue.”

Kapil Sharma in another video said, “It’s all propaganda that keeps on running on Twitter and I don’t get involved in such things. I have started doing some good things and I want all of you to support me in this instead of creating controversies around my comments.”
He said that Sidhu had some prior commitments because of that Archana Puran Singh has shot a few episodes with the team of The Kapil Sharma Show
On the Jammu and Kashmir terror attack, Kapil said, “We are with the government but still, we need a permanent solution. The cowardly act in Pulwama that killed our soldiers shouldn’t be forgotten and the culprits should be punished.”
Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility for the terror attack in Pulwama on Thursday where at least 40 CRPF jawans were killed and others critically injured.
