Allahabad High Court slammed the makers of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush, which was portrayed as the Hindu epic mythological Ramayana. The court while dealing with two Public interest litigations (PIL) filed against the dialogues of Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, the court questioned why the intolerance of the Hindu religion was put to the test.

When it comes to religious sculptures people are sensitive and that emotion was effected by Adipurush. Court asked the makers, "Do people put a disclaimer for the brainless? you use Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, Ravana, Lanka, Sita and all the characters of Ramayana and say that is not Ramayana?"

Court also asked the petitioners to come up with the exact reason for the ban on the movie. It asked whether with the ban, the feelings of the people already hurt will come to relief. Court by the end allowed the petition to implead the dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla and issued notice to him.
