Eggless Butter Biscuits is tasty and crunchy biscuits that you can munch anytime in the day. Each bit of these biscuits gives a wonderful mouth-feel and has a wonderful aroma. These biscuits can be easily prepared in your home within few minutes. This is perfect after school snack your for kid’s. Try this easy biscuits recipe at your home.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups plain flour (maida)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- Plain flour (maida) for rolling
Directions
1. In a bowl, add the butter and sugar and mix it gently with a spatula and add the vanilla essence and plain flour and knead into a soft dough and keep it in the refrigerator the for 30 minutes.
2. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and roll a portion of the dough into a 200 mm. (8”) diameter circle and dust a little plain flour.
3. Cut into 8 small rounds of approx. 37 mm. (1½”) in diameter with the help of a round cookie cutter.
4. Arrange the cookies on a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 15 minutes.
5. Once done, remove from the oven and store in an airtight container and enjoy whenever you want and enjoy it with a cup of tea.
