Ingredients for Omelet recipe with mushroom and green pepper
Chopped green onions: ¼ cup
Sliced fresh mushrooms: ¼ cup
Chopped green pepper: ¼ cup
Butter: 2 tablespoons
Eggs: 5
Salt: ½ tea spoons
Pepper: ¼ tea spoon
Shredded cheddar cheese: 1/4 cup
Shredded Monterey Jack cheese: 1/4 cup
Steps to prepare Omelet recipe with mushroom and green pepper
1. Saute the onions, mushrooms and green pepper in 1 tablespoon butter in a nonstick skillet.
2. Remove and Keep warm.
3. Melt remaining butter in the same skillet.
4. Whisk the eggs, salt and pepper.
5. Add egg mixture to skillet.
6. Push cooked edges toward the center as eggs set.
7. Let uncooked portion flow underneath.
8. When the eggs are set, spoon vegetable mixture on one side and sprinkle with cheese.
9. Fold other side over filling. Cut in half.
