An old lady had a dog that followed her everywhere and was extremely loyal. One unfortunate morning, the dog was nowhere to be seen in the house. The lady walks up to his kennel and finds that the dog is lying down and not responding to her calls too.

She immediately drives her dog to the vet who checks the dog for a second and pronounces it dead. The woman who is too attached to her dog asks the doctor to check once again to make sure. So the doc goes in and brings a cage with a cat in it. He opens the cage. The cat walks out of the cage, sniffs the dog and calmly walks back into the cage.

“Your dog is dead”.

Sobbing, the woman says, “So this is the end? How much do I owe you doctor?”

“$300”

“That's ridiculous. Why do I have to pay $300?”

“The physical check is $15 and the CAT scan was $285”
