While the Santa Clauses across the globe were busy gifting and merry making, there were a few Santas who were busy hoodwinking people and robbing off millions under the saintly guise.
A Florida man, disguised as Santa and using a wrapped gift as a bomb threat robbed off a Florida bank in broad daylight.
The man guised with a beard, a hat and sunglasses walked up to the teller's desk, placed a box (fauxed as a bomb) on her desk and gave her a note that demanded money.
“The man made off with an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a dark-colored vehicle,” according to the Port Orange Police Department.
Another man in Utah dressed as Santa robbed the University of Utah Credit union.
Hunt is on for both Santa “cons”.
