'Clown Lives Matter' march in Tuscon!

The recent uptick in scary clown sightings and threats that have swept across the nation. The frightening incidents have crippled business and have many clown supporters fearing a bad name for the funny profession.

The clown community in Tucson, Arizona is all set to organize a "Clown Lives Matter" peace walk on October 15 in Tucson. The move is in the wake of the reports of “killer clowns” terrorizing communities and the rumors on social media fanning the fears of clown attacks.

According to the flyer, which posted on Facebook invites attendees to wear full clown makeup or a mask, says the walk will start at 6:30 p.m. on Fourth Avenue in Tucson.

“This is a peaceful way to show clowns are not psycho killers.” "We want the public to feel safe, and not be afraid. So come out, bring the family, meet a clown and get a hug!" the flyer read.

The Connecticut state troopers said in a statement, that, "There are many other emergencies and calls for service that troopers and other first responders need to get to without being misdirected to a prank."

The clown situations "waste valuable resources and can lead to injuries to both first responders and members of the public," Connecticut state police said. The pranks "can cause major disruptions leading to schools, businesses and neighborhoods being placed into lockdown unnecessarily."
