A 64-year-old person was allegedly killed by his own son in Mumbai on Saturday night.  The incident came to light when the residents of Oshiwara Apartments in Mumbai informed the cops about loud sounds from their neighbouring flats. The police, who rushed to the spot, broke open the doors of the flat (from where sounds came) and recovered the dead body of one Arun Tiku lying naked in the toilet.

According to the police, Arun Tiku visited Mumbai to warn his son Anuj Tiku not to give his three flats in Oshiwara  apartments for rent. It may be noted that Anuj Tiku, who  appeared in small roles in films, had been giving his father’s flats on paying guest basis.  Unhappy with his son’s act, Arun tried to persuade Anuj Tiku to leave for oversees. It was also stated that Anuj was addicted to drugs and that Arun wanted to keep his son away from these habits.

Police suspect that Anuj was responsible for his father’s murder. They took the statement of the watchman of apartments who said that another two person to whom Anuj rented out flats were in the same flat and that they entered apartments somewhere around 11 PM.  Notably,  all of the three suspects, escaped by breaking away the window of the flat. Based on the statement given by the watchman, the police filed case against the two friends of Anuj and are in search of Anuj.
