Grahanam, a Kollywood horror film, is starring Krishna, Kayal Chandran and Karunakaran in the lead, while Nandini will make her debut as the heroine.

Elan said he did not spare any effort to find a heroine who was perfect for the role in Grahanam, which is to be made as a horror film. The winner of the Miss Andhra Pradesh title in 2010, Nandini started off doing ads.

Nandini was quoted by The Times of India as saying that "I was selected for Grahanam, post an audition process. Once I was selected, I ensured that I attend an intense workshop on acting and dialogue delivery, before we began to shoot."
She is playing a character named Swetha in the film."She is a peppy girl, who is ambitious too," says Nandini, adding that her character has plenty of scope to perform in the film.

"I share equal space with the two heroes, Krishna and Chandran. Director Elan too, has been very supportive, and he is a thorough professional. He never wastes a single minute during the production."

The actress revealed that Krishna kept the spirits alive on the set, especially during night shoot. "He is a barrel of laughs and keeps everyone in splits. His energy is infectious and ultimately, we never felt the stress of back-to-back night shoots," she signs off.
