Tamil actor Ajith Kumar was injured during the climax sequence of him upcoming movie Tamil film "Vedalam". He will undergo a knee and shoulder surgery on 24 November 2015 at a private hospital. Currently Ajith who is 44-year old walks on crutches. He was advised to rest for nine weeks after the surgery.
A source close to the South Indian film star told IANS that, “This is the second time he will undergo surgery for his knee and shoulder. In 2013, he injured himself while shooting for Tamil film Aarrambam. Since he has been injured in the same area this time, surgery is inevitable.”
His forthcoming film Vedalam stars Shruti Haasan and was directed by Siva. It is scheduled to release all over the world on 10 November 2015. Ajith will take up new films only in 2016.
Coming to the movie Vedalam, Shruti Haasan got together up with young composer Anirudh Ravichander for the third time to record a song featuring Ajith Kumar in the lead. Earlier, Shruti has lent for voice for Tamil films “Maan Karate” and“3”, for which music was composed by Anirudh.
