Chinmayi Sripaada, the lady who fought for the me-too movement in the Tamil Industry, opens her view on the Hema Committee report. In the wake of Malayalam cinema's deep rot problems, the situation is now like Tamil and Telugu cinema also shouting for justice. Because no senior from the Telugu and Tamil industries are talking about the Hemaa committee report, which has shaken the Malayalam film industry. Superstar Mohanlal also announced his resignation after the controversy stirred. Chinmayi questions, whether the 17 people, who were alleged for the sexual harassment even knew how it is paining the victim. The sexual harassment in film industry was called by her as the Vairamuthu. She told how her career came to an end with drained opportunities in dubbing.
Chinmaya is the only lady in the Tamil industry, who was continuously talking about the sexual harassment of women at the workplace mainly in the film industry. In an interview she said that few call them to have photographs and also they call celebrities to some events only to get photographed. Chinmayi supports the women who complained against Radha Ravi for sexual assault. She alleges that justice in such acts will lean towards money and power. According to India Today, she told, “Sexual abuse is not almost always about attraction and falling in love. It is just power abuse. It is people saying 'I have the power to abuse and let's see what you can do about it'. The power lobby exists everywhere. It's always about politics, money and power. It requires a lot of support to speak up against sexual abuse, especially from the family. Even justice leans towards those who have access to money and power, and more often than not, women are not the ones with access to money and power”
Chinmayi also explained about how the cases are being dragged for years and decades. She also remembered that she had been fighting for her rights from seven long years. She said the only mistake I did was saying, I was molested by someone. The industry said “OK” , we will not let you work in the industry anymore. She explains with her own example how money and power play key roles in this industry.

They even mentioned that a power group of 10 to 15 men are controlling workers in the Malayam industry.
