We all know that sweat is body's natural way of cooling down. Yet, every year, we fritter $18 billion to sweatproof ourselves. Yes, that is true! People all over the world spend  a whopping $18 billion a year  on deodorant and antiperspirants to mask the funky odors. But do you know, anti-body odor is no recent phenomenon. The ancient Egyptians first "invented the art of scented bathing" to evade all sweaty situations. The first trademarked deodorant was called Mum (1881), and the first antiperspirant, Everdry, was launched 15 years later. Here are a few interesting facts on deodorant that you probably didn't know.
