Many people often spend their 20’s in procrastinations like sleeping until afternoon on Saturdays or spending all their earnings into entertainment.

However, 30’s are your ideal time to cement those habits that will help you achieve personal and professional fulfillment for the rest of your life.

Here are the 10 lifestyle changes you can make after you cross 30 to lay the foundation for lifelong success.

Stop SMOKING

If you have ever started smoking even during your teens, end it today. While you cannot undo the damage that has already happened, research suggests that those who quit smoking before 40 have a 90 percent lower mortality risk than those who continue with the habit.

Maintain a consistent sleep cycle

It might be tempting to use your weekends to just being a couch potato and binge-watch your favorite shows which automatically changes your sleep pattern.

If you oversleep for even a few days, experts say that you risk resetting your body clock to a different cycle so you’ll start getting tired later in the day.

Stick to consistent bedtime and wakeup time for better health and also better body working.

Start exercising regularly

Try to move yourself as much as possible, be it through walking, cycling, running, weightlifting, hiking, or swimming.

In the latter half of your 30’s, you start losing muscle mass so it is very important to exercise at this time. But, it is important to choose the activities you love as you’ll end up skipping your exercise if you don’t love it.

Start keeping a Journal

Journal your life! The written record of your life events will entertain you in the latter half of your life.

Putting your thoughts, feelings and goals on paper will reduce your stress levels and keep you healthy.

Start saving money

If you build the habit of saving early in your life it will probably become a routine further down the line.

The earlier you start saving, the more time your money will accrue interest.

Start pursuing a life dream

Want to buy a house? Want Kids? Or write a book? Pick any of the life goals and start acting upon them. It is always better to start late than to never start.

Learn to be happy with what you have?

If you are content with what you have you will ultimately leady a happy life wherever you are. It is really about gratitude.

Appreciating what you have can not only increase happiness but also hamper negative thoughts.

Stop satisfying everyone

You dont have to please everyone in your life. This is the time to especially choose your friends and contacts more carefully.

It is important to invest your time and energy wisely. Be it through cutting down your Facebook friends or hanging out with limited people who are actually worthy.

Stop comparing yourself to others

If you are unable to do everything that your friends or siblings could do, be at peace with yourself.

Constantly thinking about what others have accomplished will take you nowhere. Instead, think about what you want to achieve. Not everyone is created equal.
