The wealthiest persons of the highest class in Kabul could genuinely afford things such as de rigueur which are armed guards, or even a marble-covered mansion as well as a blacked-out SUV. On the contrary one man was known to have taken the strikingly brilliant lifestyle furthering much ahead while buying a lion.

He is none other than Mr Mohammad Shafiq who happens to be a 42-year-old businessman, known to be absolutely proud of his growling pet, which spends its days moving stealthily around as if in search of prey around a roof terrace at his spread out home in a luxurious residential area of central Kabul.

Mr Shafiq expressed that one of his friend said he had a lion in Kandahar at the same time wanted to sell it to him. Even though he knew he loved dogs as well as birds, yet this one was beyond his expectation. He was known to have added that he had seen lions on television as well in the zoo yet never so closely. Due to the fact he without furthering with any doubt aroused a judgment to buy it. 

Mr Shafiq says, lions are courageously powerful and therefore he respect them at the same time he disclosed something that gave him immense thrill was the fact that he could buy a lion.

Money can but anything, indeed!
