Directorial debut with a controversial story line like ‘YemayyindiEeVeela’ that has turned out to be a success and soon an opportunity to direct Mega Power Star, Sampath Nandi had successfully managed to do this. But many including us wanted to know the Journey behind this. Here are the experiences shared by this director about ‘Raccha’ and more with andhrawishesh; Journey behind ‘Raccha’ As soon as I was done with the release and the reasonable success of my first film as a director ‘YemayyindiEeVeela’, I was sure of directing a complete mass entertainer. I was prepared with a script accordingly. I have a habit of sketching the characters and the artist’s names to jot down as options. I have done the same for this script as well. Simultaneously I have put a title ‘Raccha’ for this script. Then Ram CharanTej came into my mind… I have felt that I have taken the letters R and C from Cherry’s name as the title of my film ‘Raccha’. It was a pure co–incident that the makers of ‘Raccha’ the Mega Super Good films have approached me and expressed their desire to produce a film in my directorial and considering Cherry to be a Hero. I said I was already ready with the Script. I had an opportunity to meet Cherry and Mega Star Chiranjeevi and within a sitting, the film got finalized and we announced the launch of the film within a week from then. Everything was so quick and minus confusion. Journey from being a director to ‘Raccha’ I have worked with Posani Krishna Murali for more than 30 films as an associate and always had zeal to prove myself. So, more than to prove to the audience I have chosen the script like ‘Yemayyindi…’ to prove my worth to the Industry. I have done the same, and as the jorner of the film being very much realistic, it did not take much time for me to get recognized. Post this film, within a week I have got direction offers from some 7 production banners asking me to direct similar stories. But I was clear to direct a complete mass commercial entertainer. And to my luck, ‘Raccha’ took place and things were in accordance. About ‘Mega’ star extending his support ‘Mega’ star has been a support system right from the take-off of the film and even today. He is known for his film being commercial success and knows what audiences expect from a commercial film. He has always been helpful to guide us about what to be done on a larger scale in order to add more to the film. I have seen that entire ‘Mega’ family has one common passion and that is films… really a wonderful experience working with the team. And of course, worth mentioning about the support given by the writers of the film, Paruchuri Brothers. Could evidence the audience response for the Powerful dialogues let out by Cherry in the film? And many complemented on the look and performance of Cherry in the film. What more than this like a director like me would wish for. What is a definition of a commercial film for ‘Mega’ fans Well, let me answer this from a director’s perspective. ‘Mega’ family is known for their Mass films. and a commercial entertainer should have mind blowing songs, Hero’s performance, dance, dialogues, story that connects all these elements like a bridge. I would not say ‘Raccha’ is a complete different story and never before seen experience. I would say this flick is a complete entertainer. don’t come to watch this film with your own mindset and expectations. Come to the theater to get prepared to get entertained. And you will not be disappointed. Experience while handling this film I understand this is my second film as a director. But trust me, right from telling the story to Cherry and to the release of the film, I was neither nervous nor tensed about the film. it is just that I have reached another step ahead in this Industry. Even before ‘Raccha’ has happened I had met Suriya and Amir Khan to work with them. I always wanted to do films and so I am doing it today. It is true that others who have seen my career graph of doing an average budget film as a debut and handling a big hero’s mass film might assume that I am tensed, but actually speaking I am not. Work experience with Cherry It is fantastic. Entire industry says, just like his father, Cherry is very punctual to the shoots and dedicated to his work. all these are completely true. There has not been any day cherry has got late to the location. We can see him 15 minutes prior to the said time. he is so dedicated to the work and completely believes the director. Even before the shoot of the last two songs Cheery had an injury and was unable to walk even. Ut he managed to do all those difficult steps for the songs and finish off with the climax as he did not wanted any delay in the release of the film. I have learnt a lot from him and this is definitely and unforgettable experience for me as a director… Andhrawishesh team wishes a Gud luck for this young director! Sunayana Vinay Kumar

With not even a direct Telugu film, the Telugu speaking Actor, Vishal managed to bag the audience attention with his Tmail films dubbed in Telugu. With not much films, but those films that made him stand out as a versatile Actor, Vishal after a gap of couple of months, is back again with a complete brand new role as ‘Kilaadi’. This Actor talks much more about the film with andhrawishesh team; About playing ‘Kilaadi’ I thoroughly enjoyed playing a lead in this film. This is not a entertainer that is limited to any particular genre of audience as such. It is a film that entertains you and nothing more. Of course, there is some psychology factor added to it as well. But, this is the role that I have never played till date in any of my film. Romancing 3 beautiful girls at a time and that too either of them not knowing about this is a mind game. And moreover, there is a lot of humor added to, throughout the film. Of course, this movie caters to today’s generation to a major extent. I am happy that the film is getting good reviews both in Telugu and Tamil. Foe me, playing a ‘kilaadi’ was not a easy task. I had to transform my entire personality, looks and just unlearn all those acting skills my previous roles have taught me, to get that complete fresh look for this film. And when it comes to the title of the film, even this is so apt for the hero’s characterization in the film. If a guy is in love with a girl, he is considered to be normal. If a guy is in love with 3 girls at a time, he is none other than a ‘kilaadi’ (laughs)… Finally, all our efforts have ended up being a success. About the maker of this flick Tiru worked as a assistant Director for my earlier film ‘Salute’. My Brother Vikram Krishna had a plan to launch Tiru as a director. When Tiru had come up with this script, he and my Brother had only one name in mind for the hero in this film and that is me. Even I thought I should not miss such a film after listening to the story. There are n numbers of directors who have one picture in their mind and project another on silver screen. But, Tiru knows what he has to show exactly. And I am happy to have worked with him. Apart from Tiru, I would also thank my brother Vikram Krishna, producer of this flick of considering me apt for such a challenging role. About not doing a direct Telugu Film till date Well, even I would agree to your point. Till date, I wanted to but for many reasons did not have an opportunity to act in a direct Telugu Film. but, I am dubbing for my roles in the dubbed films of mine so, I would not feel much that I am not a part of this Industry. Yes, I would also want to entertain the Telugu audience with a Direct Telugu film and that would happen soon. About taking much gap in between each film This is definitely not a planned act. I am such a person that to get in and get out of the skin of each role, it would take some time for me, in fact more than for all the other heroes I suppose. This is one of the reason for me not doing films one after the other, continuously. Apart from this, I cannot end up acting in same kind of roles and films. For me, my each film has to have a variation from my previous one. The ratio of success and failures apart, I would not want to be stuck up in any ‘image’ net. I would prefer to be known to people as a good actor rather than a successful hero. All these reasons could be for me not appearing in films more regular. More about ‘Kilaadi’ Working in this film in particular is a different experience all together. I have never worked with more than one heroine in my earlier films. But in this film I had a chance to work with three heroines at a time. Well, it was difficult for that matter. Sharing a screen space with heroines and that too they do not know the language, enacting the situations with them at a time and most important all those romance sequences, oh God! I could not manage. Somehow I have done this in this flick, but I have decided I would not let this repeat in my future films (laughs). Jokes apart, all the three heroines, Sana Jane, TanushreeDatta and Neetu Chandra were amazing artists. Moreover, Neetu had much scope to showcase her acting skills in this role. And even Sara had her share in the film. All these three ladies, despite of not knowing the language enacted their best in the film… Apart from the rest Prakash Raj Sir, once again was the show staler in this film. He is a versatile Actor. Be it a comedy, action oriented, negative role or whatever, he does the role in such a level that we would end up imagining no one else but only him in the role. I enjoyed working with him as well and his role to the film is a back bone for the success of this film. ‘kilaadi’ is not made to just inculcate a negative thought among any genre of audience. I agree that films play a major mind game among the audience mind. But, this is just an entertainment flick. It is about a guy, who just wants best in his life and with this wish, he chooses to date 3 best girls and choose one among them. But at the end, he realizes what true love is. I suppose audience is clever enough to take what they want from a film… andhrawishesh team wishes a good luck for this Good Actor!

He is introduced to film industry as a son of famous lyric writer Vennelakanti… but, it did not take much of a time for him to establish himself as a dialogue writer, with the films like ‘Adurs’, ‘Surya S/O Krishnan’, ‘Na Peru Shiva’, ‘Shambo Shiva Shambo’ and the list is on and on. Andhrawishesh team met successful dialogue writer ShashankVennelakanti, who spoke about his career, challenges he faced and also about his tomorrow’s release, Dubbed flick ‘MalliGadu’… About his Journey, all these years… I always used to be passionate about writing… right from my childhood, I used to write dialogues catering to various emotions. It is after my Graduation, I have decided to take up dialogue writing as a career. As you all know, being a Son of a well-known lyric writer, it was not so difficult for me to get that first chance to write dialogues for film. But, from then, till date, I worked very hard to reach whatever I am today and still have a lot to do. Someone rightly said, all the references are perfect for you to get some work initially. If you wish to sustain in the field, then it would be depending upon your hard work and how you take each and every opportunity that comes your way… About being a writer to dubbing films at a major extent Well, many ask me about this. Still, n number of people are in a opinion that dubbed flicks are comparatively less in all means when compared to straight films. I need not answer this… the success rate of dubbed flicks last year that is equal to that of straight films itself talks about how important dubbed films have become for our Telugu cinema. I have no differentiation about films and neither caters them into dubbing or straight films. For that matter, we work more hard for dubbed flicks. We need to understand the dialogues in the original language, write the same in the dubbed language and see that the original meaning and the essence of dialogues are not lost, and most tough task is, making all those dubbing artists to let the dubbing… in fact, it is more or less a multi-tasking… How far reading helps dialogue writing? Well, to a major extent in fact. Where do dialogues come from? From what you see, experience, notice and add some spice to it. In this way, my habit of reading books of various genres has helped me to a major extent. Though my writing skills are a bit restricted in dubbed flicks, as I accept the scope of experimenting with the dialogues is comparatively less. In the direct films like ‘Shambo Shiva Shambo’ and ‘Adurs’, I have enjoyed writing for these flicks, to the core. I am looking forward to write more and more direct as well as dubbed films. About ‘MalliGaadu’ My association with the production house of this film is from many years. I have been writing to almost all the dubbed flicks Studio Green has been producing. But, writing for ‘MalliGaadu’ is definitely a different and challenging experience. The dialogues of every character in the film have a peculiar slang. We adapted Nellore slang in the dialogues in the dubbed version. And thanks to all those dubbing artists who have been tremendously supportive and quick enough to understand and let out the dialogues. The challenge I thought would be when Hero Karti was supposed to dub for his role. Since Karti is yet not well versed with Telugu and top of this for this film, he has to dub in a Nellore slang, we have allotted 10 days for his dubbing. For the shock of my life, I see the dubbing finishing off in 3 days. I have just explained the slang of one or two dialogues to him and rest he picked up within no time. This is a debut film for Karti in Tamil and there the film runned successfully for entire one year. Karti’s look, characterization, Direction, story and screen play, Priyamani’s outstanding performance, everything is a worth watching in this flick. It feels taking a Journey, watching this film. I have to mention another point here. In the Telugu version, we made Anchor Jhansi to dub for Priyamani… you need to watch the film to enjoy this outstanding experience… I am confident, like all the previous films of karti, even ‘MalliGadu’ would stand out to be a super success. What he enjoys writing the most It is not only about me, but many writers enjoy writing more comedy and emotional sequences. Here, in these two genre, we can experiment and play with the words. However, we can make and even break the essence of the scene with our dialogues though (laughs). About his future projects Well, I am writing for karti’s another bi – lingual flick ‘Sakuni’, Surya’s untitled film in Tamil and even Naga Chaitanya’s forth coming Telugu flick… this year would be full of work for me… Andhrawishesh team wishes a good luck to this young successful writer…

After a break from his set of action flicks, Venkatesh has entertained the audience with ‘Body Guard’ released this Sankranti. The film, despite released among huge competition, is declared a success and Venkatesh, writer of the film, Kona Venkat share their expressions about the success with andhrawishesh; About the success of ‘Body Guard’ It is not that I am just saying all these only because the film is a success, but the fact is, this success was expected. The reason being the story is known to the Public and the film being a success in rest all other languages, it has been remade and released. So, there were definite chances for us to anticipate the film would be accepted by the audience. of course, keeping the jorner of audience in mind, we have made certain changes to the script and taking of the film and released it, and today, we are seeing audience are more than happy, received the film. Finally, our team work has paid off. About the comment ‘Body Guard’ is a complete entertainer As I have said, this comment was expected. The story itself is such that all the emotions, action, comedy and those elements that are loved by the audience to watch are included as such. And top of this, there is an action entertainer that has come out from me after a break of more than two years that is after ‘Tulasi’. So, the audience has seen me doing some action sequences in ‘Body Guard’ after a long time and loved the same. Of course, even the stunt masters Ram – Laxman, have done their best in order to make the action sequences look more stylish and new. It is like we have taken the story base from the original version, but amended the same according to the thought process of the Telugu audience. About Thaman’s music scores Apart from the film and the story, as you all know, even the music of the film has been declared a super hit. And the credit goes to Thaman for scoring some amazing numbers and even keeping up those emotions even while scoring the RR of the film. To mention, Thaman has worked very hard, put all his zeal in scoring the music of the film. Almost all the songs are very catchy and liked by large set of audience. By scoring a perfect music for the perfect situation, Thaman has become a major asset for the success of the film. Writer of the film, Kona Venkat’s take Venkatesh Sir was always very positive on the story and the success of the film. He always used to say, ‘it is very safe on our part to choose such a subject and go ahead with the remake of the film. but, we need to stand out to make certain necessary changes in the script and make the film more crisp, reducing any lags in the subject that are not needed. We need to go for a proper remake of the film that will be accepted by the audience’. The entire team of ‘Body Guard’ worked on the same principle. And likely based upon our prediction, the movie released and declared a success. We have made a lot of changes in the taking, song sequences, Venky’s personality as ‘Body Guard’ in the film, characterizations of the other roles and certain alterations even in the climax of the film. I am happy to work with Venkatesh Sir, who strives for the film to be a success and accepted by the audience. And more over, Venky’s dedication towards his work is worth mentioning. He always used to get updated on the shooting of the other versions in other languages of this film and used to analyze how best can this film appear in Telugu. About Venky appearing in a ‘Female get up’ in the film Well, this is no doubt, Venky’s initiative. He always wanted to do something and entertain the audience with his acting skills. And as we all are aware, Venky is known for entertaining the audience with his amazing comedy. In this film, Venky has teamed up with Ali and donned a Female get up, in one of the sequences. Today we see kids and all jorner of audience enjoying this act of Venky. Good to see Venky does not bind him in any ‘image’, but strive to entertain the audience.

Though being a Telugu speaking Actor, Sri Ram is more poplar in K – Town… now; he has again come in front of Telugu audience with Shankar’s directorial ‘Snehithudu’ after his appearance in ‘Dhada’… Andhrawishesh team has captured all those experiences of this Actor talking about ‘Snehithudu’ and director Shankar; Aboutthe journey from ‘3 Idiots’ to ‘Snehitudu’ ‘3 Idiots’ is definitely a film, after watching the same any audience, irrespective of the age group and the gender could relate to it. So did I while watching this film in the theater. After watching the film, the makers of Gemini Film Circuit who are almost like a family to me as I have done a film in their banner, called me up and asked about the film. I let our all my excitement after watching the film. Then I have come to know, it is none other than this banner who are planning to remake this film. For me, the story of ‘3 Idiots’ itself a major asset that could be a success in whatever language it is remade and no matter if even the audience are familiar with the story of the film. My only concern was what would be the star cast and who would be the director, who can run the show… When I was thinking about the same, I got a call from Gemini Film Circuit’s office asking me to come and meet them once. I was shocked to see Director Shankar is the office and then came to know he is the one who is remaking this film and even I have a major role to play in the film that runs the story… More or less, the journey from me watching ‘3 Idiots’ to being a part of ‘Snehitudu’ is a dream come true. It is an Honour for me to be a part of my favorite film, under the direction of my favorite director. Difference between ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Snehithudu’ Not much, but lot more… well, when I have been finalized to play one among the three leads in the film, the other two being Vijay and Jeeva, I have happened to ask Shankar Sir, if we are amending the story or the screenplay of the film. He only said, ‘Nothing would be changed. The original essence of the film is outstanding and the soul of the film should not be damaged in the process of remake. It is only that you all should get involved in the roles you are playing, completely’ and we have done the same. But yes, there is a lot more color and life added to ‘Snehithudu’. You can see the college background, the characters being so colorful and the songs itself would appear as if they are a film individually to you. This is the difference from the original version to our film. This particular song ‘Al is well’ has been shot for 14 days, that is, each day we used to shoot one or two shots, this is the hard work we did put on for the film and today, despite of being a remake film and a known story, ‘Snehithudu’ has been accepted by all jorner audience and even in Tamil, as ‘Namban’. About the role As you all know, I play the role played by Madhavan in the original version. I somehow have thought I would be given the same role even before I was told that I was finalized for this role. The reason could be already Vijay being finalized for the role played by Amir Khan and Jeeva for Sharman Joshi… but I always wanted to play the role of Madhavan in the film. I am happy my will has come true. Unlike in the original version, where the difference in the appearance of the characters is not shown to a major extent in the flash back and in the existing story of the film, we have tried to project the lot of variation in the body language, physical appearance and even in the voice. This can be experienced while watching the film. Finally, about the Music of the film Harris Jayraj managed to project the difference with his music for the film. Be it all the other songs and even the track ‘All is well’, we have not taken any tune of any song from the original version. In fact, to make it more local, at the beginning of ‘All is well’ song, you can listen to a kind of sound that is made so naturally, by particular localities, who were got trained for that sound itself. And all the rest of the songs, the way they are tuned and shot in a very rich and colorful locations with best technology is actually showing today, when people are enjoying watching the songs. Totally, ‘Snehithudu’ is Director Shankar’s film with a complete team effort…

After making a safe and successful debut as a director with ‘Don Seenu’ it has taken more than a year for Gopi Chand Malineni to come with his next release. ‘Body Guard’ that released this festival, amongst a lot more expectations and speculations managed to earn good reviews. Andhrawishesh team captures the experiences told by this director about his journey during the making of ‘Body Guard’; About the success of ‘Body Guard’ This is an apt film at the right time and for all those fans that have been waiting for their favorite hero Venkatesh’s film to release and attain ‘Victory’ once again. It has been quite a sometime; Venkateshgaru has played a perfect role that has got all the jorners of comedy, emotion, love and sentiment to be portrayed. Once again, ‘Body Guard’ has proved to be a right film for Venky that has supported his worth as a complete Actor. it is not today, but right from the first day of the shooting of the film we all were very confident that ‘Body Guard’ would be a definite success. And despite of this film have faced and released amongst the huge competition, it has proved its worth. I really very happy to attain consecutive success with ‘Body Guard’ after making a successful directorial debut with Ravi Teja’s ‘Don Seenu’. About the changes made in the Script ‘Body Guard’ is one such film that was re made in almost every language and recently released in Hindi as well. so, almost all the audience who come to watch the film in Telugu would know the story and are also familiar with the screenplay of the film. Now, my challenge as the director of this film is how to project the film at least somewhat different from the earlier releases and how to connect the character of ‘Body Guard’ similar to that of Venkatesh’s Body language. Keeping the same in mind, we have made certain changes in the college sequences, Hero introduction sequences and also in the action sequences. We have treated the entire film in a very stylish way. Even the characterization of heroine Trisha has been altered to that of certain extent. Our major aim was to project the movie as per the audience taste and to make the audience feel interesting and excited watching the film, though they are familiar with the story of the film. I suppose we have succeeded in the same. From ‘Don Seenu’ to ‘Body Guard’ Well, the journey has been with lot of challenges. As a director, ‘Don Seenu’ was a perfect and safe debut for me. I have proved I can make the audience laugh, with my way of projecting comedy and entertainment with my first film. But with ‘Body Guard’ I have proved I can make people cry and get emotional with my way of storytelling. I am happy when someone recognizes me today as an all-round director. And for me to achieve this name and fame only being two films old is also a very warm feeling. Of course, now the responsibility on me to make each and every project I take up a success and to reach to all jorner of audience is a never ending challenge. Hope I would keep up to the expectations and would satisfy the audience as well as the producers who trust me. Experiences during the making of ‘Body Guard’ I can only say it is a journey and not just a experience. Unlike my previous film, the story and the initial treatment of the this film is known to the audience and all is set. Only changes I can make a as director of this is film is how to make it appear different from the original version. I have concentrated on the treatment of each and every sequence, the acting skills of each and every artist including the main star cast and of course, the music director of the film Thaman has helped a lot in giving the best of Music and the back ground score of the film. All these put together and not to forget the confidence of my producer Bellamkonda Suresh on me, managed to help ‘Body Guard’ to stand out as a successful film today. I can also say, it is not a easy task for any director to take a story that is famous and known to many and project the film as ‘new’ to the audience. but with the entire support of the team and also working in a healthy atmosphere, I was able to manage to attain the much awaited success with ‘Body Guard’. Much more about Thaman’s Music He is a most wonderful Music director I have worked with. He used to be careful in composing each and every tune and used to be so particular that it ahs to not dominate the situation or the flow of the film. whatever tunes he have given and the back ground music he has scored added to the major extent for the film. today, audience recognize ‘Body Guard’ not only as a good film but also as a superb musical hit and all these have not been possible without the support of Thaman. Once again my sincere thanks to all those who are associated with Body Guard… Hope to receive some more good directorial from Gopi Chand Malineni!

Srinivas Reddy, right from ‘Idiot’ to ‘Solo’, this comedy Artist made all the effort to make himself register himself in almost all the films he worked all these years. Be it ‘Aarya – 2’, ‘Shankam’, ‘Anjaneyulu’, he worked very hard to be someone from just any other comedian. Adding to his hard work, his recent film ‘Solo’ bought him immense recognition where people after watching the film are making it a point to appreciate his contribution to the success of the film. Andhrawishesh joined Srinivas Reddy and shared his experiences about and during the shoot of ‘Solo’ from him; About the success of ‘Solo’ and your role in it Generally, if any film becomes a success or at least people start recognizing it, everyone would appreciate the lead artists and the important character artists who have done their bit in the film, the direction, screenplay, music and even the dialogues in that film. if they could remember, they would just write a line on the comedy in the film. but, with ‘Solo’ I gained immense recognition. Today, in all the reviews and talk about the success of the film, I am being mentioned separately and many have mentioned me in their blogs too. this is a biggest achievement in my career and what else I would expect for? ‘Solo’ is not just a successful film but also the film that has actually projected me as a artist. About the friendship with the Director of the film I have known Bujji from couple of years now. In fact, I have played a role of a constable in his first film ‘Yuvatha’. Actually, we have shot a mind blowing comedy track for that film that was removed during the editing taking the length of the film into consideration. I was very upset at that time. But, Bujji promised me he would give me a reward winning role soon. He kept his promise and gave me an opportunity to enact a worth mentioning role in his second film, ‘Anjaneyulu’. But, due to certain reasons and that phase where almost all the expected films did not do well at the box office for some Political reasons, even ‘Anjaneyulu’ just remembered to be a average success. After one year of the release of this film, I have got a call from Bujji. He just asked me to pack my bags and leave to Vizag along with the unit members to act in his fourth coming directorial ‘Solo’. This success of the film and you being recognized was much expected? Not exactly. Initially, while shooting for the film I just thought it was any other role that I would play in rest of the films. But, Bujji made it a point to make me sit and narrated the story for 3 long hours. I got so emotional, after listening to the same. This narration of his made me change my perception about the hero of the film, Nara Rohit might not do justice to his role in this flick, because I was in a perception of assuming him as a Serious Hero, after seeing his debut film ‘Baanam’. Even Rohit is a very dedicated Actor. He cares for his co – stars, works on the betterment of the sequence and strives for the co – ordination with the co – stars as well. during the initial days of shooting, Rohit used to be very calm and just concerned with his work, but we made him change to such a person that today, he talks more than us. In fact, you can see his outstanding performance in the second half of the film. He has given his best in the first half as well, but due to the intimacy developed by us, by the time of the shooting of the second half of the film, that actually shows in the film as well. on top of this, Bujji’s unique style of taking, the dialogues and the story telling mechanism, put together bought the success for ‘Solo’.. How far the dialogues helped for your performance In fact, more than 90%. For any comedian to live the sequence, along with the timing and the co – ordination, even the dialogues play the major role. And not only for a comedy track, but for the film to register in the audience mind as well. Director Bujji did not only prove himself as a amazing director but have also written some heart toughing dialogues that would make the audience think. When the heroine explains her love to her father, hero expresses his anguish of being orphan, certain dialogues about the ladies, everything went on perfect. I do not know how Bujji would get such ideas to write these dialogues, but as said by him, many sequences and dialogues in this film are out of his personal experience (laughs), since Bujji’s was also a love marriage.

Her admiration and desire to produce a film with Power Star PawanKalyan, made her turn a Producer and she is today a part of one of the prestigious and stylish film of the year, Power Star ‘Panja’. Andhrawishesh talks to NeelimaTirumalashetty, one of the Producer of the film, who shares her experience about ‘Panja’… First film as a Producer? I have been a diehard fan of Power Star PawanKalyan, since many years and this admiration of mine towards him, made me think to produce a film with him. And in this process, I have joined hands with my co – producer ShobuYarlagadda. Now, getting Pawan agree to do a film requires lot of challenge as Pawan always looks to act in a film, that is given a different treatment. When we met Pawan and let out our interest in making a film with him, he suggested Director Vishnu Vardhan’s name. it seems Director S.J. Suriya has suggested Vishnuvardhan’s name to Pawan, post the release of ‘Puli’. We then me Vishnu Vardhan, Vishnu has come up with a story line of which the screenplay was amazing, it did not take much of a time for Pawan to agree to the script, we finalized all other star cast and that’s how, ‘Panja’ we on location. Working with PawanKalyan Before meeting Pawan, I have heard a lot about him, both on the positive and the negative as well. But, once I met him, started working with him, then I have understood how amazing personality he his. Despite of being one of the Big Heroes, Pawan does not have that star dome getting into his mind. He is a very down to earth person, a bit reserved, extremely professional, punctual to work, a perfect co – star, has got in depth knowledge about each and every minute aspect of film and film making but gives that required space to the director and other technicians. I am happy to have produced a film with Power star as I got the opportunity to know him better, as a person. And I would like to urge all others one thing here, be it a celeb or a common man, never comment on anyone unless and until you know and observed them for a while. About Vishnu Vardhan I would say he is a Director with amazing clarity of what he was doing and why it is necessary for that sequence or shot to fit in the film. Vishnu Vardhan is one amongst those few directors who comes prepared to the shoot. Many times, when Vishnu used to explain a sequence to Pawan, Pawan used to in turn ask Vishnu, ‘why is this shot coming here/this expression is necessary?’ and every time Vishnu used to come up with his explanation, Pawan used to get convinced with the same. in fact, Vishnu is a Director with guts, who was confident about the success of the film, right from the first day of the shoot to Audio release and even a day prior of the release of the film. he even made it a point to let everyone know his story line appears to be routine but the screenplay and the sequences in the film, also the characterizations make the film look outstanding. And this is what happening today. peopleare comparing the story with some of the earlier films of Pawan, but at the same time are convinced watching the film. Music of the film Yuvan Shankar Raja has given amazing music and Back Ground scores for the film. The title track, ‘ElaEla’ and ‘Paaparaayudu’ and ‘Veyraa’ received lot of acclaim. And more than 3 songs being successful in an album is a very positive sign. Till date, apart from the ‘Panja’ title track, one such song that is receiving major hits in You tube and in the film as well, is ‘ElaEla’, that happens to be one of my most favorite tracks in the film as well. 20 days prior to the Audio release of the film, Yuvan’s mother passed away from this World, even then this musician has got such an immense amount of dedication to sit down and complete all the tunes within the given time. I myself have learnt a lot with all these technicians. Moreover, another big round of applause to Vishnu and the Cinematographer Vinod, who portrayed, every song sequence, every frame with a style and this made ‘Panja’ a stylish film. Dialogues ‘Panja’ is a stylish film, a film that showcases a Journey of a Man who is in search of love from past 20 years and the situations around him. in this scenario, keeping the characterization in mind Vishnu wanted the dialogues to be stylish yet powerful and most important thoughtful and very much with the film. Good for us, we found Abburi Ravi, who has given amazing dialogues for the film. One of such line given by Ravi was screened at the starting of the film. And Power Star’s style of dialogue telling being an added advantage, everyone are remembering the dialogues even after they are out of the film. Other characters One of the important roles in the film, apart from Power Star is that of ‘Munna’ played by Adivi SHESH. Shesh and we met through a common friend of us and after seeing his ‘Karma’ our director has decided to cast him in the film. How important his role is in the film, you need to watch the film to know. The director has taken a special care in the dialogues of Shesh in the film and since he plays the America returned guy, Vishnu was very particular with Shesh letting out his dialogues. We have another major role in the film, played by Jackie Shroff. All other artists, Anjali Lavaniya, TenekellaBharani, AtulKulkarni, Jhansi, SubbaRaju and of course Ali and Bramhanandam added the success to the film. Also, our decision to choose Sarah Jane for ‘Sandhya’s role proved right as she got into the skin of the role and given her best performance. In short, Power Star’s ‘Panja’ is a perfect package that would not disappoint the Power Star fans. Just come to the film, keeping all your thoughts aside.

Introduced to the industry as the sister of one of the top most heroines of T – Town, KajalAgarrwal, NishaAgarrwal is barely two films old in the industry along with her recent second release, ‘Solo’ that has been getting good amount of reviews as of now. Catch up Andhrawishesh’s chat with Nisha who talks much about ‘Solo’ and more; About her role in ‘Solo’ I play a Medical Student who is simple and career oriented. She has only one aim in her life. she aspires to be a doctor and wants nothing else to come on her way. But she encounter s certain situations and people who make her think about them. Now, what kind of a decision she takes, and her moves take her into which phase of life, you have to see on silver screen. Rather than this, I am not going to tell you much about my role, as it would reveal the story. But, I can strongly say, ‘Solo’ is a movie that caters to family, tradition, values in life and with loved ones, and also certain strained relationships. Particularly, the sequences featuring me and Prakash Rah ji can be related with almost every father – daughter watching the film. ‘Solo’ caters to every jorner of the audience and the day to day increase in the success of the film itself talks how a success ‘Solo’ has managed to achieve. About Rohit He is a dedicated Actor and most passionate about films. all the time he concentrates on the work he is doing and even his shooting is done, he used to just be around to see how the shoot is going. During the climax sequence, that we shot for 2 nights Rohit was around during the shoot and even helped me out to take up my lines as I am not well versed with the dialogues. I am happy to work with such a professional Actor, right in my second film as a Heroine. And even my director Parashuram and Prakash Raj sir as well helped me in getting the right expression and right dialogues. There is a really very big sequence in the film featuring me and Prakash Raj Sir. Thanks to all the team members of the film as they made my life easy with their support. About the director Parashuram Sir is an amazingly talented person. He is a very good script writer, an excellent director and most important the best critic to his work. the way he used to analyze and anticipate each sequence is worth mentioning. ‘Solo’ has been shaped up by the director as a complete entertainer. It has drama in it, comedy from the first to last frame, emotion and romance. Making a story, satisfying all these jorners and keeping up to the audience expectation is really very difficult that has been achieved by our director. He is a very meticulous director; he comes to the shoot prepared, explains the same to you and helps you to get into the skin of the character. It is not just he is bothered with the completion of the work but doing the same, perfect. He is a director with lot of clarity and makes you clear as to what you should do, why getting into the depth of the role you are playing is so important and how you should imbibe the role in you. Family and sister’s involvement in choosing the film Well, be it kajal or me, me, sister, mom and dad sit down and discuss to accept or not to accept any film, what would be the pros and corns of doing that film and in what way the film would be advantageous to our career. I and my sister would not get much time to spend together as we would be shooting in different places. But, I watch her movies a lot and try to imbibe all those good qualities about her acting. We suggest each other on our looks and performance, every now and then. Our parents support along with our work has made us successful today. About KajalAgarrwal’s B – Town debut Very happy for her. Her debut film in Hindi, ‘Singham’ has declared to be a success and she is being getting a lot more offers from B – Town. I have learnt how to manage the work and yet not forget the land that made you a success from Kajal. Apart from her performance, I have loved watching Ajay Devgan, Prakash Raj Sir in the film as well. About comedy in the film Comedy is the integral part of the film. it is so very interesting and ‘in’ the film and runs throughout the film, that you would not feel out of the place watching the comedy in the film. all the senior comedians like Bramhanandamgaru and younger lot like Srinivas Reddy, did their level best in making people laugh. In fact, the Heroes’ characterization is very lively that you can relate yourself or your neighbor with the on screen characters. Comedy is so natural in the film. More about ‘Solo’ Well, as of now, I can’t talk much about the film, neither my role nor other characters. I can only say, ‘Solo’ is a Solid love story with excellent screenply and direction, proper placing of the roles, such a fantastic music scores and RR by Mani Sharma and Nara Rohit in a complete different role. Go, watch ‘Solo’ in theaters today. you will not get diassappointed! Next Celeb on Chit Chat! Since she discovered love for films, she has been a great fan of this Actor.
