‘Bejawada’ a film with all the emotions – Director Vivek Krishna December 01, 2011 12:18
Director of one of the most controversial films of the year titled ‘Bejawada’ Vivek Krishna speaks about the film and all those aspects behind the Camera, catering to ‘Bejawada’ that is scheduled for a release on 1st December that is today. well, there is some more time to let you guys know the review of the film, that is all set to screen in the theaters with huge opening collections. As of now, let’s know the experience of Vivek Krishna, who is debuting as a director with ‘Bejawada’; Journey of ‘Bejawada’ from ‘BejawadaRowdylu’ This 1 year long Journey has been full of experiences. Some that could be cherished throughout the life and some that have come across the learning experience. Right from RGV has announced the title, to the first song of the film being put on net to the film started and till the shooting being completed and even on the release date today, there were lot of controversies. Initially, there was a problem that we faced while shooting in Vijayawada, even though major of the people supported us, a mess created by certain set of people, after that these guys had a problem with the title that they started taking personally and went to the extent of legal proceedings to change the title from ‘BejawadaRowdylu’ to ‘Bejawada’. Well, this was most hurting. And even today, many are of the opinion that the film is based on the ‘Rowdysm’ that was much prevailing in Vijayawada that too in 60’s. we tried explaining one and all many times that ‘Bejawada’ is just a story of a guy who has that instinct of fighting against the wrong. ‘Bejawada’ is a story of a guy, who is a good lover, brother, son and a personality who cannot with stand the wrong that could happen to him or to anyone in front of him. It is a story of a common guy with lots of guts in him. It is not like any other story that is based on large amount of ‘faction’ or ‘Rowdysm’. Also, there are many catchy one liners and particularly the dialogues of the film will also be a highlight. You will agree with me once you see the film. As a debut director, I am more than happy making a debut with a film like ‘Bejawada’. Now, this film has to decide my existence in the film Industry or a way back to Kakinada (laughs)… RGV’s involvement in the direction Oh! Even I asked him n number of times to give his suggestions and involve in the direction, but he chose to be a producer for this project. It is not just this, right when I went to him with the story of ‘Bejawada’ he liked the concept, confirmed I am doing a film under his banner and went to Bombay. He is not just a successful director but understands the taking and style of another director as well. Another producer of the film, Kiran also has been a very good friend of mine from 13 years. When I and kiran used to meet, we used to discuss how our kind of a film would be. And in ‘Bejawada’ you can see the same. Choosing Naga Chaitanya for the role Initially, many opposed the idea of casting Naga Chaitanya for such a powerful role, the reason being, this is the 5th film of him and past films apart from ‘Dhada’ have been a romantic entertainers. But, somehow there was always a instinct me that told me only Naga Chaitanya could do the justice for this role. On top of this, even Chaitu is looking for a action packed yet family entertainer to work with. It did not take much of a time to make Chaitu agree to do the film. Here I have to make one thing clear. Many are comparing the role of Chaitu with that of his father, ‘King’ Nagarjuna’s role in RGV’s directorial ‘Shiva’. In ‘Shiva’ Nag played a role of a College going guy who becomes tough and fights against the evils in a due course of time. In ‘Bejawada’ Chaitu plays a guy who has an instinct of fighting against the bad right from the first frame of the film. I only say people to come to the theater to watch the film, without any expectations or comparisons. We bet the audience would enjoy watching ‘Bejawada’. I would like to mention a incident over here. We were shooting an action sequence; Naga Chaitanya was supposed to break a glass. He was so very involved in the sequence that with all the force he had broken the glass; the glass broke into pieces and his hand got cut. But, till the time I Okayed the shot, he did not even let us sense he was injured. Chaitu had a deep cut in his palm and we immediately have taken him to the Hospital. Then I have felt, without a dedication towards work no family would sustain from past 70 years in the industry and that too in each generation giving a super star to Telugu cinema. About Amala Paul I have seen a Tamil film of Amala that made me to take a decision of personally meeting her. I went to the shooting location at Coimbatore and was surprised to see her who is very different from the film I have seen. And in ‘Bejawada’ you would see a different Amala Paul who would be more beautiful, natural in her performance and most important unlike many heroines today, Amala will have a lot to do in the film, not less than the hero and the other roles played by veteran Actors like Prabhu, Kota SrinivasRao, ‘Subhaleka’ Sudhakar, Ajay and others in the film. Other aspects of the film The Camera work is the highlight of the film. We have shot certain sequences in Digital Camera and some other sequences in the regular film Camera, based on the importance of the sequences. But, the audience cannot see any difference and find out the same while watching the film. Another asset of the film is the back ground score and the Music that caters to all jorners of the audience. There are close to Six music directors who have worked on the Music and RR of the film. I must agree that I have only done 50 percent of my job in shaping up the film, the remaining 50 percent was done by the Music directors and stunt masters of the film. We have catered each type of stunt to each master, and even this makes the film to move ahead. In short, ‘Bejawada’ is a complete team work. About 2012 resolution Well, 2011 of my year has been filled with ‘Bejawada’, and 2012 will be based on how people would receive this film. As of now, just waiting to receive the first response of the film. Andhrawishesh team wishes all the very best to director Vivek Krishna and aims ‘Bejawada’ should be a success, after all there is a lot of hard work and dedication involved in making this flick!

Though there were three other main leads in ‘Happy Days’ the role played by Nikhil as Rajesh was declared one of the highlights of the film. infact, Nikhil was the only hero apart from VarunSandhesh who is still in demand in T – Town. His latest release ‘Veedu – Theda’ has been getting mixed reviews. Andhrawishesh team met this Actor, who spoke about the situations and the journey that led to ‘Veedu – Theda’, and much more… About the title In one of the recent interviews, my director Chinni Krishna has said he got the inspiration to the title after seeing me (laughs). Probably, this could be true. Once it so happened that during the shooting of the film, I have promised my director that I would be there at location by 5 am, but ended up landing at 7 am, so may be with these kinds of actions of mine, director might have got a thought for this title. Even during the Audio function of the film, he said he generally has a habit of writing the characters, but he has found a character like me (laughs). After seeing the film, you would understand how apt the title is for my character and in turn the film. Does Nikhil relates with the title or the role Oh! Definitely not. Please don’t categorize me as one peculiar character in real life by seeing my reel life appearance. ‘Veedu – Theda’ is a film that revolves around a guy who believes in doing all the regular things different. We have tried showing the same in the posters of the film as well. As a part of the film, I have worked with close to 40 comedy artists in the film and throughout the film, I would be becoming a pain to all the other roles. May be this could be the reason for the title or as I said earlier, might be my director has sensed the difference in me from others and kept the title. And I am not a massy person at all. I am like you, normal, fun living person. It is just that the kind of image I am carrying right from my first film ‘Happy days’ and the type of roles I am playing make me a massy hero. ‘Veedu – Theda’ a film for mass audience – Nikhil’s comment Well, when one of my successful films ‘Yuvatha’ released, initially seeing the title of the film, for the first three weeks there were younger crowd coming to the theaters. But, from the third week onwards I have seen more family audience coming to watch the film. it is just that initially for some weeks people would consider the jorner of the film with the title. But, once the publicity spreads and people are convinced to believe there is content in the film, then for sure not only youth, but even family audience would come to the theaters to watch the film. Moreover, ‘Veedu – Theda’ is more or less like a marriage and a comedy entertainer. So, who does not love to watch comedy? Out of the entire unit, who is ‘Theda’ for Nikhil? Okay, I would say my director Chinni Krishna (laughs). It is not that I am taking his name for the heck of it. It is just because I have not seen a multi-talented person like him. He is the same person who has entertained us by enacting a role of a warden in the film ‘KottaBangaruLokam’. He is an actor, writer, dialogue writer, dance master and what not. Moreover, he is a most admirable by director V.V. Vinayak. During the Audio release function, V.V. Vinayak has wished Chinni Krishna to be as successful as him. What more compliment than this can be? Reason for accepting the film Totally, my director. He has a skill of narrating the story in a most interesting way and depicting the same on screen without fail. As a actor I have done many films out of which many were not so successful. Then I have learnt to be very careful while choosing the scripts. In this scenario, I have met Chinni Krishna who narrated the story for 2 and a half hours and believe me I was laughing and doing nothing all this time. I mean to say, I found the story so entertaining and trusted on the film to be a success, and the director a person with utmost knowledge. All these put together made me accept ‘Veedu – Theda’. Experience after watching the film I just wanted to celebrate that moment with the bottle of Champaign. So I did with the entire team members of the film. Certain sequences handled by the director where so matured that they were far better when compared to the story narrated. The entire film was like complete meals for me. I am so happy to do this film and move a step ahead as an Actor. with this success, I wish many more offers to act in good films under some well known directors would for sure come my way. About that ‘Drunk and Drive’ issue As I said you, I had celebrated that evening with the entire team members of the film and had two sips of Champaign. On my way home, there was a security check that was going on and at this time I was being accused by the Police for being drunk. What I suggest is, be it a sip or a two, drink and drive is always not safe. I consider this mistake as learning and hereafter would be more responsible as a person and as a actor as well. Andhrawishesh team wishes aall the very best to this young Actor!
Read More80 Percent Youth, 20 Percent Family audience - Oh My Friend November 22, 2011 16:24
It is no that we are not aware how entertaining Navadeep’s performance in all the films that too recent releases he have been doing in. be it ‘Chandamama’, ‘Aarya – 2’ or the latest release ‘Oh My Friend’, Navadeep not only have done multi starrer films to a major extent but also proved his worth and let the audience know his importance for the film, by depicting extra ordinary performance in each film. Andhrawishesh presents the chat with Navadeep who talks more than ‘Oh My Friend’, apart from the film; About the success of ‘Oh My Friend’ This was expected. Right when we were shooting for each and every sequence of the film, during the post-production, and even during the music launch and prerelease of the film, we the entire team of the film were predicting the success of the film. Moreover, Youth and family audience are connecting with the movie at the major extent. Only that, some set of audience would have come to the theater with their own expectation about the film, and would not have been satisfied seeing the film to be not as the same as they expected. But this definitely does not mean that the film is not successful. The revenue the film is collecting and the audience response itself shows how big a success ‘Oh My Friend’ is. It is a journey of four lives. Along with the screenplay of the story, even the dialogues, particularly those of Siddarth and TanikellaBharani in the pre climax sequence made many parents and youth audiences think. The film will atleast change the perspective of girl and guy being friends in today’s society. Reason for accepting the role I remember saying here after I would be keener in doing Solo hero films, during the time of ‘Aarya – 2’. But, when the most successful producer of T – Town, DilRaju and the director of the film, approached me to play a key role in the film, that would move the story of the film ahead and would conclude the film, I took up the opportunity to depict the role as I felt that I am worth enough to play the role and even Raju has recognized it, so I am being offered the role. As far as I know, in all these years of my association with films, and from all the films I have done till date, I have not played such ansuttle and matured role as I did in ‘Oh My Friend’. I am satisfied as an Actor. More about the role and a never before told secret about the film Both my director VenuSriram and Producer DilRaju are the two people who are well versed with each and every minute expression of the film. Venu Sri Ram has been associated with DilRaju’s production house in the direction department from some years now and made his debut as a director. He is a person who would listen to everyone but only implements the suggestions if he is totally convinced. Here, I would share a secret about my role in the film, that I have never talked about before. There were some crucial sequences of mine in the film, in which my role that is ‘Ajay’ supposed to behave a bit matured and different from the other roles. Venu has made me give three kind of variations in expressions in each shot and posted the best suited as per the feel of the role on – screen. We tried three different expressions of dialogues while enacting a sequence in many scenarios and of course the meter of the role is the same. Only that how affective it can be made understood to the audience was worked upon and today, almost everyone who have seen the film have understood the role of ‘Ajay’ in depth. This is one of the best and difficult roles I have done in my career. In enjoyed playing ‘Ajay’ in ‘Oh My Friend’. Whom the movie caters to DilRaju is such a film maker who would love to make those films that cater to youth on a major extent. At the same time, he also ensures even family audience have to connect to the film. Only then, the film would be a commercial success as believed by DilRaju. ‘Oh My Friend’ caters 80% to youth and 20% to the family audience. The film talks about the love and friendship between four people that stands out to be a major break in their lives and relationships and how the same would be sorted out at the end. Today, taking the confusion about love and friendship in the youth, such a story being created and presented to the audience, I am sure the film would help many in analyzing that thin line between love and friendship and to be more matured in their lives. About the co – stars I do not have much of sequences with Hansika, but I shared a very good rapport working with the three co – stars. Our co – ordination that talks a lot on screen, actually shows what being professional and working without any ego in mind means. I know Siddarth prior to this film, but I have got to know what a good co – star he is to work with, once I have started working with him. He is so involved in the story and screenplay of the film, that he does not mind underplaying and enhancing the importance of certain sequences. Actually, in the climax sequence of the film, Siddarth had more dialogues than me. But, keeping the takeoff of the story in mind, Siddarth wanted me to run the show and rest all Artists supporting the same. It was very good working with Sruthi Hassan as well. She and Siddarth, both are multi-talented Artists and true professionals. About the emerging trend of Multi starrers As expected, this is a very positive sign for a Cinema to survive and grow. Be it all the multi starrers that attained success till date, ‘Oh My Friend’ or DilRaju’s fourth coming film starring VenkateshGaru and Mahesh Babu. As a audience I would love watching two well-known stars performing together in the film and that itself should be the USP of the film. As an Actor, I prefer to do as many as multi starrer films as I can, as I love entertaining people. Be it as a Solo hero or playing a key role in a multi starrer. End of the day, whatever we do, the audience has to get entertained and accept the same. If this happens with multi starrers than nothing like it. About the over whelming response on playing ‘Ajay’ Even I was aware of the response my role in the film would get, after the release. But, I have not expected such a high percentage of response from the audience. I receive a lot of appreciation from the audience on my performance being the stealer in the second half. It has been close to 8 years I have entered the industry and till date, with not much of commercial successful films as a hero I am surviving in the industry and all this is because my talent has been recognized. Hope audience would sustain their impression on me and accept me as the same they are doing now… Good to see the Actors like Navadeep who made to be successful in this industry with no God Father and only their talent being their strength!

‘I was not bothered to know ‘Mogudu’s Story’ says Tapsee! From Engineering to Heroine in films, Tapsee has made her dream in reality and today has n number of experiences to share with us. Though she has done comparatively less films in all these years of her career, we can remember her work. with her own logic of choosing the roles and films, Tapsee has bagged one of the important role in much well known director of Telugu Cinema, Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Mogudu’. We cannot stop talking about Tapsee’s role in the film, after watching the same. Andhrawishesh presents you the chat we had with Tapsee, where the Actress talked about K.V (Krishna Vamsi), ‘Mogudu’ and Gopi Chand of course; About the journey with ‘Mogudu’ One fine morning, I get a call from Krishna Vamsi Sir’s office and the manager tells me, I have been chosen to play a lead role in K.V Sir’s next film. Without even I second thought, I have gone to K.V Sir’s office and signed the agreement. Only in the first meeting I have known about the story and my character in the film. I suppose almost every heroine would dream to work under K.V Sir’s direction and me getting this life time opportunity, right in the initial stages of my career, I am blessed. Moreover, I am even happy to play such an important role in ‘Mogudu’. When it is a Krishna Vamsi’s film, it is for sure that mostly the story line would be based on family entertainment. This way, you can act in most appreciable jorner of film and get closer to the audience as well. The same happened with ‘Mogudu’. The film released on 4th November, started picking up its collections as more and more audience prefer to watch this film along with their family. I am blessed to work with such great technicians, right when I made my debut in RaghavendraRao Sir’s ‘JhummandiNaadam’. About mixed results of ‘Mogudu’ This is bound to happen with any film. It is not necessary that every film would satisfy all the set of audience. Neither the film is made catering only certain set of audience. if we see the film from a director’s perspective we would find almost every film, convincing. And you can’t see the film from audience perspective as it is very unpredictable to decide what audience prefers to watch at any given point of time. but, history says that the success rate of many family entertainers is comparatively high to that of other jorner of films. so, considering this in mind, we have to decide the success of any film and not based on the mouth publicity. ‘Mogudu’is definitely declared to be a success, b’cos we can see the crowd pulling to the theaters. After all, it is Krishna Vamsi who has directed a family entertainer after a gap, so who would want to give the film a miss. Likes in regard to Krishna Vamsi’s style of film making After working with him, I felt he is the address for family entertainers. Every point on the film he shows and every aspect in the story has a logic that makes you think. He considers the story to be the soul of the film. he is in love with every minute aspect of cinema and that definitely shows in his style of film making. To work according to his phase initially, I have worked very hard to emote the right expressions he wants. He is such a director who would not even think of compromising until he gets the desired output. I have heard Krishna Vamsi’s style of film making earlier, but got an opportunity to experience the same with ‘Mogudu’. Every audience at some point or the other would connect the film to their lives while watching ‘Mogudu’. This learning experience would definitely help me to give the best of my performance in the films, I do here after. About her connect with the sequence in ‘Mogudu’ (Laughs) As such I have not faced either of the situations in the film with my life. But, I really liked a line Krishna Vamsi has depicted in the film, ‘Every Man can become a Husband, but every husband cannot become a Man’. Not only this, the takeoff of the film, the emotions that depict every role to be right in their own place, the struggle that faced by the lead roles, what not, every aspect of the film is convincing. We in the film did not try to give a definition of perfect Husband, wife, family and relation. We tried to project how every person changes according to the situation. This has made the film appear more close to the audience. We neither exaggerated any situation. Everything in the film would be very natural and normal, it is just that the audience have to decide, if they could connect with these situations or not. All these perfect sequences put together has given as ‘Mogudu’ to the audience. Working with Gopi Chand He is such a well behaved and soft spoken person and most important a fantastic human being. In the film, I and Gopi have many combination sequences that demanded a lot of co – ordination and performance from both of us. No doubt, he is a great actor, along with the same he is a best co – star to work with. He helped me a lot to get the best of the performance. Since I am not well worse with the language, he was the one who suggested me to tell the dialogue in Hindi first to get the expression and then tell the same in Telugu. This advice is a great help for me, all through my career. I could only emote the best performance with his help along with K.V Sir’s guidance. But yes, out of all other heroes I worked with Gopi Chand is a very shy and reserved person (laughs). About Shradda Das, complementing on Tapsee as a Good Human being and she (shradda) did not see a good human being like tapsee in her career Ohh! That is so sweet of her. I have seen Shradda as an Actress, in the films like ‘Darling’ and ‘Aarya – 2’. We gelled very well while shooting for ‘Mogudu’. I feel Shradda has complemented me as a Good Human Being as she is a good human being first and only then can see good in rest of the others. I suppose we have changed that notion of no two heroines can be good friends (laughs). Well it is not only that, but Tapsee has also changed the notion that we have on today’s heroines are arrogant and itt behaved. Long way to go Tapsee!

It was very easy for him to make a debut into Telugu film Industry as a Hero, being a Star Kid. But, later on, it was completely his hard work and his wise ness in choosing the films that made him attain his set of audience today, even though he is barely 5 films old. His way of choosing the films and planning a career, ‘King’ Nagarjuna’s Elder Son and Movie Moughal Dr. D. Rama Naidu’s Grand Son, Naga Chaitanya talks to Andhrawishesh team about his much awaited and the most controversial film, RGV’s ‘Bejawada’ and much more, when the Hero came to attend a promotional event. To know what’s with Chiatu, read further; About ‘Bejawada’ Well, there are many expectations, and news surrounded about the film and its story, since Ram GopalVarma has announced the film. But, this is just a fiction work that has done based on certain real time situations, that happened in Vijayawada, couple of years ago. As of now, I am not allowed to speak anything more than this, about ‘Vijayawada’. I can confidently say one thing; I have got to play one of the powerful roles in my entire career as an Actor, in this film. As soon as I have agreed to work with Ramuji, one film that came into everyone’s mind was Ramuji’s block buster success with Dad (‘King’ Nagarjuna) ‘Shiva’. This and the story line put together are creating a very big hype among the public about ‘Bejawada’ these days. On top of this, the trailers and the songs that released recently are getting good reviews. Hope even the film would be accepted by the audience. About the role I have definitely experimented by doing a role in this film. the characterization, the takeoff of the role, the transformation of various emotions, all these put together has given me a plat form to perform a never before done role. I had to work hard to get into the skin of the character as it was not so easy to get the grip. But, the director of the film, Vivek Krishna and Ramuji have helped me a lot. I play one of the powerful roles that is a dream for any new comer as well as a challenge to live up to the increased expectations. Our entire team has done their best. Now it is the audience call. About the issues in regard to the title The title that was announced for the film, initially, ‘BejawadaRowdilu’, started becoming not acceptable by many of Vijayawada natives, as they took the title personally, and had their on notion about the story and the screenplay of the film. we tried to convince them that the film is purely a work of fiction based on some real time incidents, but they refused to listen and approached the Court. We had to obey the decision and change the title to ‘Bejawada’. Not only this, we had issues while shooting for the film in Vijayawada initially, as well. But, throughout this year, we had faced each and every problem, worked on giving the best output. I am just eager and waiting for the release of the film. Working with Amala Paul She is an extra ordinary actress. I have liked her performance in the film, ‘Nanna’ itself. When my director said I will be working with her, I was very excited. She is a professional performer and did her best in this flick. Particularly, there were certain song sequences that actually highlighted our chemistry. The entire film along with the song sequences was picturized too good. The film is a perfect combo of technicalities and story and screenplay. About the career graph Well, it is too early to talk about. ‘Bejawada’ being my 5th film, I am still working on sustaining in this industry. As you know, the image of Star Son, would work good enough unless you make a debut, later it is all about your work and worth and how people would receive you. When I have made my debut with the film ‘Josh’, many commented that I did not suit to the character and required a lot more transformation to prove to be a hero. ‘Em Maya Chesaave’ made me taste what a success actually means, ‘100% Love’ added to the success, ‘Dhada’ did not reached the expectations however. And now, ‘Bejawada’, that would be releasing in the theaters soon. All these films have taught me a lot. Today, I am able to decide what role to do and what not, to what extent should I experiment in choosing the roles, how the release and the success of the film is important to each and every technician associated with that film and also to the industry as well and lot more. Today, my main motto before accepting any role would be that role and the film should entertain the audience to the core. I have decided to go further step by step, and learn with each and every film. I aspire to transform as such an Actor, where people should recognize my worth. Future projects As of now, I have just signed a film titled ‘Auto Nagar Surya’. As the name itself suggests the film will for sure be a pakka commercial entertainer. The regular shoot of this Deva Katta directorial, who proved his worth by making a critically acclaimed film like ‘Prasthanam’, would be starting in a while. Apart from this film, there are other projects in pipeline, the details of the same would be known soon. How would ‘Bejawada’ be As everyone think, ‘Bejawada’ is not a story that just highlights one factor of ‘Rowdism’. This is a story that carries various forms of human emotion that makes a person to transform into a totally different personality. Every jorner of audience can relate with the film. and our entire unit is keeping our fingers crossed for the release and the result of the film. hope we succeed on the hard work we have done.Andhrawishesh team wishes the entire unit of ‘Bejawada’ all the very best and hopes the film would entertain all the Movie buffs, including us.

Though her debut film, did not fare well at the box office, despite a huge star cast and all the required commercial elements, 'Luck' always favored this Actress. Making a debut in B – Town she soon has shed the recognition of Veteran Actor Kamal Hassan's daughter and in all the languages she is acting, made her own identity as Shruthi Hassan. And to achieve all this, it did not even take much of a time to this Actress. As of now, Shruthi is enjoying the success of her Trilingual flick, '7th Sense' with which this actress made her debut in Tamil Film Industry. Andhrawishesh met this actress, who was rushing to attend one of the promotional event in regard to '7th Sense'. Out of all the celebs I have me and spoke, chat with this Young Actress is comparatively short, now, if it is sweet or not, read out by your own, to know; About 7th Sense I suppose it is not necessary for me to talk anything about the film, the audience response at the theaters itself tells you how successful the movie is. I am proud to be a part of such a prestigious project. The entire credit goes to Hero of the film, Suriya and most imaginative and creative Director Murugadoss who can make a film with never before thought story, and has guts to entertain, convince the audience with his film. '7th Sense' is such a film that has got so many variations in it, it entertains you at the same time makes you think and over all, it is the 'Diwali' feast for the audience. About her role in the film I play a young scientist in this flick. Now, if I say scientist, this definitely does not mean that I have played some offbeat role that has only to do with the performance. You can find me entertaining the audience with the chemistry I and Suriya share, in the songs and in the overall film. '7th Sense' being my debut film in Tamil, and this flick being declared a block buster success in all the languages released, I am overwhelmed and hope my career takes positive turns like it has been all these years. Moreover, the film makers of '7th Sense' are planning to release the flick in Hollywood too, I am excited and waiting for this. Working with Suriya He is such a Proper Actor, with no ego of being 10 years old in this industry and being one of the most wanted heroes of entire South film industry today. he is only concerned about the film he is doing, aspires the entire sequence or shot to be perfect and takes care of other artists performance along with his, in order to the sequence to come out as the best. He is a very down to earth person; extremely good at heart and the same shows off ones you start working with him. Instead, he used to at times tease me saying that he is afraid of acting with me when it comes to romantic sequences, as I am a daughter of senior most Actor Kamal Hassan. I am happy to work with a co – star like Suriya. Favorite song This is the magic of Harris Jayraj music. Every track in the album composed by him would be the best and it is very difficult for you to pick any one and say, 'Yes, this is the best'. He has given an extra ordinary music to '7th Sense'. And right now I am humming 'Yelelemma'. As I being a play back singer too I have sung some tunes for this film as well. And then I went ahead and asked fast five questions to Shruthi for which she answered; Favorite Color : Black Favorite Car : Anything that takes me from point A to B After 5 years, singing or Acting : Entertaining, that is the single focus Without what you can't leave home : My intelligence (laughs) Favorite Outfit : Anything I am comfortable and makes me project what I am With this Andhrawishesh team took a leave from Shruhti Hassan, as the actress was in a bit of a hurry… and we can back, uploaded our chat with Shruthi to you…

When ‘Baanam’ strike, everyone came out with the comment about the film, stating it to be a critically acclaimed film. This is a compliment to the film, in today’s Telugu Cinema, where almost many stereo type films are coming up. Particularly, the Hero and his Voice, his guts of experimenting with the role right in the first film, all were the points of appreciation. After taking a break and hearing to n number of scripts, Rohit has agreed to strike again, with another ‘Solid Love Story’, ‘Solo’. The audio of the film was launched recently and the film is set for a release soon. Andhrawishesh team met the Hero and the Director of this flick. While Director Bujji chose to stay calm and only watch the Hero, Rohit talks to Andhrawishesh about ‘Solo’, ‘Baanam’ and ‘Films’; From ‘Baanam’ to ‘Solo’ Life has been a roller coaster ride. The story and screenplay along with the role all these factors put together made me accept the Movie ‘Baanam’, that is though my debut Movie, has given me much recognition that I needed and the movie even though was not a commercial success, managed to earn average returns and critical acclaim. Soon after the film, many offers of similar serious kind of roles came up to me. I always craved for showcasing a variety in my films and roles and never wanted to repetitive or similar roles. So, I have waited all this time for an attractive Script. Then, director Bujji of ‘Yuvatha’ fame came up with the script of ‘solo’ to me that attracted me to the core and as soon as I heard the narration, I have decided to take up the role. That’s the story behind ‘Solo’ and my journey from ‘Baanam’ to ‘Solo’. More about ‘Solo’ This is for sure a complete entertainer and love being the centric of the film. It is a story of a Guy and how he would be able to win his love. Though the line seems to be similar, the screenplay makes you very interested to watch the film. We have worked very hard for the film. Though it has been close to a year, the project has actually started; the shooting of the film was completed within 45 days. The tag of the film is ‘A Solid Love Story’. And yes, this is a Solid story of a Guy who is in love. NishaAgarrwal is playing the lead opposite me in the film and Prakash Raj being another Pillar for this flick. He has been so supportive and the story and screenplay of Bujji, made him accept the role in this flick. People in ‘Baanam’ have seen me as a matured hero, but with ‘Solo’ everyone would get to see the actor in me and I am happy to disclose the same. About Manisharma’s tunes He is for sure ‘Melody Bramha’. He has given me some very catchy tunes in my debut film ‘Baanam’ as well, one of them being ‘Naalo Ne Lena’. Till date, audience would remember the song. Even in ‘Solo’, Mani Sharma has given me some good music. Out of the entire Album, atleast 2 to 3 songs are my favorite. The audio of the film has been released recently, and I wish all you music lovers out there would listen and enjoy the music of ‘Solo’ as we are planning to release the Movie soon. About the director Bujji and I would no more shares a Director – Hero relationship, but we are more of friends today. It could be because I and he sharing the same thought process, our way of understanding Cinema being the same, and the amount of passion inculcated in us towards film making, all these things put together has made us close to each other. Today, I can definitely say, even in near future I would love to do a film again in the directorial of Bujji. He is a very talented director and very lively person to work with. Dream role? Getting into films itself was my dream, so there are no dream roles in particular to me. I need to do as many films as I can, showcasing variation in each role and sustain in the industry for more long years. Yes, I do have a dream of starting up my own production house, but I am still working on it. About heroine of the film I remember the time when I and Bujji were searching for a heroine to our film. we have seen many heroines, and in the due course, we saw ‘YemaindiEeVeela’ coming on T.V. both I and Bujji were convinced with the factor that, though the heroine of the film, NishaAgarrwal is a new comer, she was capable of handling her role of the ‘solo’ heroine in the film. Then we decided to cast her in our film too. Initially, many opposed to this thought, but we had a belief in her and after the film’s release you would know how important her role is in the film. Nisha has carried her role with lots of grace and she has a long way to go. Telugu Cinema Today Lot many changes, some for better and some not, much more matured technicians coming in this industry, the variety of scripts and work we are getting to do and Telugu Cinema’s scope today has been widened. On contrary, piracy, all the issues that are creating hurdle in the shooting and releases of the films that is in turn affecting the market of Telugu Cinema are creating many obstacles. I would say development and problems are going hand – in – hand, when it comes to Telugu Cinema. Why films? Like any other teenager, even I aspired to become a Engineer and pursued my Engineering. It was my father who always felt that I could be a better Actor and encouraged me to make my career in films. Initially, I was not very keen for this thought. But, later on even I started feeling positive and wanted to explore in this career. With the same thought, after my Engineering, I pursued a film making course in America, to understand Cinema and this is how I am here today. What audience can expect from ‘Solo’ A proper entertainment. Because even before accepting the script I here the narration of any story as an audience and put a question ‘why should I watch this film?’ the answer itself makes me to decide it If I should do the role or not. And from ‘Solo’ one can expect a ‘paisa vasool’ for the amount invested in the ticket. With his way of roles and films, Andhrawishesh hopes Nara Rohit would bag a success with ‘Solo’ – A Solid Love Story!

Right from being an RJ to making a debut as a Hero in the award winning film like ‘Astha Chamma’, to playing one of the challenging role in ‘Beemli Kabaddi Jattu’, to bagging the block buster success with ‘Ala Modalaindi’, Hero Nani has finally managed to make his dream of becoming a hero turn to reality, with no god father in this industry and his talent being the only key to success. Andhrawishesh team has wished this upcoming Hero personally and spoke about the film as well. Nani talks much more about his recent success 'PillaJamindaar' to Andhrawishesh team; About ‘PillaJamindaar’s success Right from the launch of the film, and even before that, right when the director has come up with the script, I had confidence that this movie would make a difference after the release and same has happened today. People at theaters are enjoying the comedy in the film, the songs, the sentiment and the dialogues as per the sequences. In short, ‘PillaJamindaar’ is a complete feast to the audience. I am happy that, at the time of the story discussions, the story told by our director, the same has been projected on screen. There was not a inch difference in the narration of the story. And these days, this kind of the output has been very difficult to achieve. I am happy that ‘PillaJamindaar’ made me get the feel of doing a complete film. I have a confidence that I can make n number of other people from the industry to watch this film along with me. And I am sure that all of them would only ‘compliment’ my work and the film instead. I am proud to be a part of this project. About experimenting the roles It is not just that I am establishing myself as a Hero and doing only certain set of stories and roles. The audience would only love to watch the films, when they find something new in it and it has to be entertaining too. so, I tend to experiment with each role that comes to me. Moreover, I am a kind of a person who gets bored very easily. I can’t do the same kind of work and roles again and again. So, I would be searching for something new every now and then. May be because of this urge of mine or the film makers coming up with the new kind of stories, I am having an opportunity to experiment with different variation of roles every now and then. About the title of film This title has come from the story itself. Generally, we use this term ‘PillaJamindaar’ in order to tease some body, even in this film; we have certain elements that would suit to the title for sure. This film is a complete entertainer, but there are some inherent message and thgouths that make you think while you are watching and enjoying the entertainment in the film. But, ‘PillaJamindaar’ is not a flick that you would watch, laugh, and forget. This film and the story along with the screenplay will make you think, even once you are out of the theaters. About the Director Director of the film Ashok is a very intelligent director. In fact, let me share you my first meet with him. He has come up to me with a story initially. May be because of my mind set or the situation in which I was at that time, I was not in a position to accept that story as I was not convinced listening to it. I have told the same to Ashok. But, the way he was narrating the story clearly made me understand that he understands Cinema. He knows what to be done where. So, I had a positive opinion on him. After some time, Ashok had again met me, narrated another story. This time, not only the story, but his way of narrating the screenplay has made me accept the film and that’s how ‘PillaJamindaar’ happened. What makes Nani accept a film? Any director for me should be able to execute his thoughts as a film in a perfect manner. Only then, audience would accept the film. before doing the film, one should have a clarity of what he is doing and should be able to think from the audience point of view, if they would accept the thought or not. Only then, the chances of film being the success are very high. So, I would be always interested to work with directors who possess this kind of a thought process. And I am glad that Ashok has done what he thought and told me he would be doing. About adapting the role This it is a very tough task. When you are playing any role for that matter, you should not be someone else, but you should adapt the thought that you are what you are playing. This process of adaptation itself decides the success or the failure of the role. Right from my first film ‘AshtaChamma’ to ‘BeemliKabaddiJattu’ to ‘AlaModalaindi’ and many other films I have done, the first thing I do as soon as I accept the role is getting into the skin of the character. Right from the Body language to the look to the dialogue delivery, I behave and live in the role; I think this is how people are still recognizing me. About the role in ‘PillaJamindaar’ This is a character that has got immense variations in it. In the first half of the film in particular, I play the role of the most arrogant and super rich guy, from a Jamindaari family. He wakes up with money and his day ends with the same. in the second half of the film, my role transforms in to a complete change over, and that you have to see on screen. So, I enjoyed playing many variations in a single role. Any tough sequence in a film? As such, I take every sequence and every shot as a challenge. But yes, there is one such sequence in the film, where I am supposed to play a stage drama in the college. At first I have to play the drama as if I am not at all interested in it. but, later I need to completely get involved in the same and with complete emotion I need to play the drama. So, this sequence, that has got two variations in it, was much more challenging for me. Well, with his way of understanding Cinema and climbing every step of star dome by doingentertaining film, hope Nani has a long way to go. Andhrawishesh team wishes this Young Hero, A Gud Luck ahead!
Read More‘Oosaravelli’ a commercial film with a thought October 08, 2011 11:46
She is known as a milky beauty. Her second innings in T – Town with the film ‘100% Love’ has been a 200% success. She is an amazing beauty, extra ordinary performer, an intelligent, dedicated and lucky heroine, who is doing films with almost all the heroes of T – Town and K – Town. In fact, she is the most wanted heroine today, after her Dusserarelease; ‘Oosaravelli’ in which she has done a prominent role with Jr. N.T.R was declared a success. Let’s see what Tamanna talks more about the film and her; About ‘Oosarvelli’ and her role ‘I am very lucky to be a part of such a film and to work with such a director Surender Reddy, who has bought a never before story line and added all the required elements, made it a complete commercial film. ‘Oosaravelli’ released, declared a success and the revenue of the film is increasing day by day. Right from day one, Director Surender Reddy was very confident on the success of the film and he told me I have a very prominent role to play in the film. In today’s era of the commercial heroine being limited to some sequences and songs, I playing a role like in ‘Oosaravelli’ isdefinitely a dream come true. I am once again very happy the way my career is going on in T – Town and looking forward to do more rewarding work ahead. Working with Jr. N.T.R What to say about him? He is a brilliance personified. He is a fantastic human being and an excellent actor. We all give our set of performance in the films, but do take certain amount of time to give our best. But for Jr. N.T.R is it performing a dance sequence or any jorner of acting sequence it is instant. I have learnt a lot from him. I have done ‘kick’s remake in Tamil, directed by Surender Reddy and loved working with him. I used to see Jr. N.T.R’s films and even aspired to work with him one day. Just imagine if a film associated with these two is offered to me? I did not even think for a moment before accepting this offer. And more over, even I had a prominent role to play. What more than this an artist like me requires? More about her role in ‘Oosaravelli’ I am proud to say that the entire film itself revolves around the lead pair. I play a equally prominent role to that to Jr. N.T.R’s. I have knew people started anticipating ‘Oosaravelli’ to be a negative shaded film, because of the meaning of the title that refers to changing colors. But, just think, why does ‘Oosaravelli’ change colors? It is to protect itself, it is a defense mechanism. Now, the story revolves around this only. As of now, talking about my role and the film more than this would not be fetching. But, ‘Oosaravelli’ does not disappoint the audience. This film and the kind of the roles that both Jr. N.T.R and I played in the film is a complete new and different portrayal. About RasoolEllore Apart from being a excellent cameraman, Rasool Sir is a successful director who has made movies like ‘OkarikiOkaru’, ‘Bhageeradha’. He is a very adjusting cameraman, who adjusts according to the artists. It so happened that we were shooting on a Mountain which is very much of height, for a song sequence. Rasool Sir has found out that I was scared of shooting on that place, by seeing my facial expressions and came to me and extended his support that nothing can go wrong. Even making a film is no less that making a project in software. Only difference is that it unites the people around you with you. So, did ‘Oosaravelli’ to me. About the music and DSP Every song in the film is a highlight. Each song has its set of listenership and worth mentioning. I would like to talk about Devi Sri Prasad (DSP). He is an amazing music director. He is also a good friend of mine. I see him working day in and day out, but still he does all his work with immense passion and this is his success mantra. I see him growing to the peaks with his each film. There should be a soul to connect the film to the audience, and DSP’s music is a soul for the film. I personally like each and every song composed by DSP in ‘Oosaravelli’. And I have enjoyed watching Jr. N.T.R dancing to the beats of DSP. About rumors Initially I used to react a lot to these. But, later on, it has been understood that these days, everyone are curious to know something fishy about celebs and this is the reason Media is coming up with a new news each day. Some of them are definitely rumors and nothing more. I prefer not to react to rumors that arise on me. I am here to work and succeed in the field I have chosen. I would only keep this in mind and would work my heart out. I am not concerned about anything else. There is no time for love or a relationship now. I am in love only with my career and nothing more. Moreover, my parents are my support system and believe in me. so, I am not bothered about the rest. Favorite song in the film In ‘Oosaravelli’ I enjoyed shooting for ‘DhandiyaEndiyaa’ song. And personally, I like ‘NuvvanteNaku’. When the first time I have listened to this song I thought it would be a catchy number, but really shocked to see the response expected than more, now. Raju Master was the dance director for this song and I thank him to bear with me. If it is Jr. N.T.R, no dance master would have a problem. But, to bear with me is a big deal. My thanks to the entire team of ‘Oosaravelli’ and Cheers to the crew as the film is a block buster success.

He has made a mark as a director in the industry. He is a minimum guarantee director. Even if we do not know about anything about the technical crew and the director, after watching the film for certain time, you will say, ‘this is a pakkaSeenuVytla’s film. With almost a very high success ratio of his entire career and his latest release ‘Dookudu’ declared a film of the year, SeenuVytla talks more about ‘Dookudu’ and about his films as such; Enjoying ‘Dookudu’s success I feel all our hard work has paid back and the success of ‘Dookudu’ both in India and overseas turned out to be a solace to us. We have worked for the film more than a year. We had to face many hurdles and the shooting of the film got delayed with each problem. Many said, ‘Dookudu’s delay in release will turn out to be the biggest disadvantage for the film, others did not had confidence in the film and some others started anticipating the result of the film, even before its release. Even when the audio was launched, the initial few days we had to receive many negative feedbacks about the music and the songs of the film. But, putting down each negative, ‘Dookudu’ turned out to be a super success of the year and once again proved that a good film will always result in positive. Reason for concentrating on ‘Comedy’ being the ‘centric’ of every film I don’t find a reason for making a film. Film making is my passion so I am here. I make the films for audience and I being the audience, would love watching all those films that make me laugh. So all the audience these days. Not many people want to think while watching the film. If the audience would invest some amount to get entertained, it is my responsibility to give them all that required entertainment. And what more is required rather than comedy for the audience to get entertained? Bramhanandam being a part of every film I enjoy comedy and appreciate all the comedians who are making us laugh. I am personally a very big fan of Dr. Bramhanandam, who is no doubt a comedy king of Indian cinema. He is a solace to any director and gives the best of his performance with amazing timing of comedy in every sequence. I feel very comfortable in working with him. Since, I believe in making entertaining films, I cast all the artists who can entertain the audience to the core. It is not that Bramhanandam is the only artist who will enact the comedy sequences in my films. Even the hero of my film ends up doing comedy. Working with Mahesh He is a director’s hero. He trusts his director and creative persons completely and works according to the director. He gives complete freedom to the director and never hesitates to mold his personality and body language according to the characterization. It has been a fantastic experience working with Mahesh and I am looking forward to work with him in near future as well. Comment on all the films being the sequel of his earlier films If is it so, then audience are intelligent enough to stay away from watching my films. They would instead wait for the film to come on T.V or the DVD to be released. It could be the comedy being the integral part of many of my films, or else I do not prefer taking a serious story line of film making, it could appear all my films being the same. But, as a director I am satisfied that the industry is looking up to me and considering me a worth. I do not bother about the comments made by certain set of people. I know my work. Future projects There are certain projects in pipeline. I would be making more interesting films in near future. I will be doing films with certain heroes and certain combinations that I have never done before. As of now, I am enjoying ‘Dookudu’ success and working on the script of my next project. Will let you know the details soon.
Read MoreDookudu Music director Thaman September 29, 2011 11:46
One song that is ruling the chart busters is ‘PoovaiPoovai’ from Mahesh’s ‘Dookudu’. The Movie is declared a super success, so as the songs of the film. Let’s know what the Music director of the film Thaman.S who is the wanted music director in South film Industry as well has to say about the film, and more about him; About ‘Dookudu’ success and appreciation for music composed Well, right from the beginning the success of the film is expected. It is only that many issues in the City and also in the film industry has cropped that delayed the release of the film. I had a complete confidence this film would be a memorable one in Mahesh’s career. Director SeenuVytla has made another complete entertaining film titled ‘Dookudu’. Mahesh has experimented with his role and adapted a complete different Body Language and this time, it worked. I am over whelmed seeing the response the film has been getting. I have been receiving the critical acclaim for the Music composed and particularly ‘PoovaiPoovai’, ‘Guruvaaram’, ‘Nee Dookudu’ are being appreciated. This success has given me a joy to work more and get more appreciation. From ‘Kick’ to ‘Dookudu’, Journey in T – Town Though it may not appear, but my journey as a Music director itself has been a roller coaster ride. Though maximum number of films I have composed music for are a big success and till date I am getting some good offers, it was easy for me to be what I am today. I started off as an artist and have done Shankar’s ‘Boys’. But, prior to this, since the age of 8, I was into music and worked under some well noted music directors. It was director Shankar, who has recognized my worth as a Music director and has given me first opportunity to compose music for ‘Eeram’ that has been released as ‘Vishali’ recently. Of course, once the film makers started knowing my work, there was no looking back for me. But, till date each song I compose will be like the first time I am composing the music for. The same involvement, the same enjoyment and the same passion towards music that is making me sustain in this industry. About the rumors of composing monotonous music Every music director has his own style and giving the music for a particular narrated situation. So do i. it is quiet common that some of my tunes resemble to that of the composition earlier done by me. But, it so happens with every music composer. Rather than comparing, why don’t some people enjoy the music? It is just that how to I compose, my team packages the music. Similarities are always there. I would instead call it as a ‘My Kind of Style’. However, no film maker is innocent enough to hire a music composer and get same old tunes. People should know what they are speaking before they bitch about others. Future projects I am composing the music for Mahesh’s another film with director PuriJagannath, ‘The Businessman’. I am more than happy to compose music for Mahesh, continuously for the second time. Director Puriis an amazing person and has a clear picture of what he wants from all the other technicians. He knows what he is doing and a gutsy director to admit even if he makes a mistake by making any film, that does not manage to entertain the audience. I am sure, just like ‘Dookudu’, Mahesh’s ‘The Businessman’ also would win the audience heart. Music for you It means my breath. Since I have known this World, I have known Music. It is a reason to live and makes you distressed no matter what. I compose each and every song, imagining me listening to it as a common man. I will be doing the same even in near future. Music has made me what I am. I am glad that I chose music as my profession and making audience happy listening to my compositions. Any plans to get into B – Town I don’t plan anything. I just take it and move ahead each and every step, in my life. As of now, I am totally packed up with T – Town and K – Town projects. I need to give some more good music for all these good films. But yes, if an opportunity comes, there is no language barrier for Music. I would take up the offers from B – Town as well. But, South film industry would be my priority as it has given my all the name and fame, that I am enjoying today. Advice for aspiring music directors I don’t believing in adivicing some one. Each of us is matured enough and knows what are doing. So, do it putting your entire soul into it and success would follow your way.And yes, nothing is possible to handle single handed. When it comes to music, putting all the notes in place and the sounding of the composition is also more important. All this would be done by a team of skilled people. So, work in a team and never forget to respect them as well, without whom you are not complete. Well, expecting some more ‘mesmerizing’ music from this Music Director!
Read More‘I am here to do Good Work’ – Panchi Bora September 27, 2011 16:33
There are n numbers of Heroines, who have made it big on Silver Screen, from travelling towards small screen to Silver Screen. To name with, Prachi Desai of ‘Rock On’ fame is a best example to quote. Another beautiful actress, who has started her acting career in Ekta Kapoor’s Television Venture and tried her luck as a heroine in a T – Town film, ‘Aakasame Haddu’, Panchi Bora, talks more about the film and herself; I am here to work Acting was never my second option. I hail from a family where no one are related to films or acting. Since Childhood, always I thought of what would be future, acting is only one domain that has come to my mind. Initially, it was a bit difficult to make my parents agree to accept my decision to take acting as a profession. But, after a couple of time, seeing my dedication towards the profession, they supported me. Till date, to which ever shoot or promotional event I go, my mom makes sure that she is with me. So, I am here to ‘only’ work and doo as many as good films and Television Ventures as I can. I am only keen in accepting those roles that have a lot of scope for performance. From T.V. to ‘Aakasame Haddu’ Initially, like any other new comer, I have made my debut in modeling, accepted certain commercials and then looked upon acting in the Television Venture of Ekta Kapoor. I have done a Daily Serial that aired in Star plus for more than a year. It fared well. But, I always wanted to explore the Silver Screen. So, just like an opportunity has come my way, the film makers of ‘Aakasame Haddu’ have seen my photographs through a Model coordinator, auditioned me for the role and I landed up playing the female lead in this ‘sensible’ film. More about the film ‘Aakasame Haddu’ discusses about today’s ‘meaning’ for ‘love’ and ‘relationships’ that has changed their identity and almost all the youngsters today are using these terms for their own benefits. The movie released recently, is getting a lot of critical acclaim and n number of Youth audience as well as some set of matured audience are keen in watching the film. I am happy that I go to play a role that I can recall for a life time, right in my debut film. I am looking forward to do more interesting work like this. I am looking forward the film to complete its 100 days of successful running. About getting in B – Town I believe for an artist, language should not be a barrier. You should be able to understand the meaning of the sequence, dialogues and emote the expressions, accordingly. You should also have a amazing rapport with your co – stars as well. In this scenario, I would say, the T – Town film industry is much comfortable to work with. People over here are very understanding, caring and good to work with. I don’t aspire to succeed in any particular industry as such. As far as I am getting well acclaimed roles and good work, I am open to work with any industry and in any language. About limitations As far as the roles and acting in them is concerned, I have no limitations at all. Be it a negative shaded role or a bubbly role or a matured woman’s role or a heroine centric film, I am ready to work. But, I am not so comfortable in wearing all those revealing clothes, on screen intimacy sequences, lip locks and bikini’s. End of the day, when I am watching my film along with my friends and family, I should not end up in an awkward situation. So, I would do nothing that would hurt myself respect and in turn my family’s reputation. ‘A heroine with a sensibility’, after listening to Panchi’s experience, one can for sure say this. Hope, unlike many other heroines, Panchi continuous to remain to her rules set!
