Kamal Haasan spoke about his Viswaroopam movie to the media and shocked them with the news of a sequel already only weeks after the original movie basked in glory in the theaters. Not adding to the surprise, the second movie will also employ the Auro 3D technology he confirmed.

The first iteration of the movie has been successful at the theaters with the techniques and the screenplay and Kamal is not going to take his chances making most of this opportunity to take the movie further with a sequel. They are already working on the sequel which is being called Vishwaroopam 2 currently.

He added that his team is emphatic to finish the sequel too. He added that the sequel will feature more of the sentiments between mother and son.

The first part of the movie has drawn the ire of a particular section of people hurting their sentiments leading to a ban in certain areas of Tamil Nadu. However, the ban was soon lifted and the movie was released in just a few days. With an investment of Rs 95 Cr Kamal Haasan managed to rake in Rs 220 cr for the movie. We wonder how high the satellite rights for this movie will go!
