Television is all set to witness a history in making as Bollywood's mega stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Ajay Devgn join forces to host a seven-hour marathon entertainment show that will be co-hosted by several small screen stars including  the famous IPL anchor Samir Kochhar.

The entertainment event is an initiative undertaken by the broadcaster in association with the Film Producers Guild, Federation of Western India Cine Employees and Cine & TV Artistes' Association, to collect funds for the Uttarakhand flood victims. The show will be aired across six channels of the broadcaster on Independence Day.

Says a source, "Since the show will run for seven hours, we have roped in Bollywood and TV biggies to host various segments."
