Arizona Cardinals cinched a heart-warming win as Atlanta Falcons put up a dismal show at yesterday's match, giving its opponent a 27-13 lead.

Despite being buoyed by its last week win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , “the Falcons looked out sorts with poor efforts on either side of the ball on the road against the Cardinals.”

Atlanta's record slips to 2-5 and all chances of making a wild card entry now looks beyond the bounds.

The Falcons are looking to pick up next week in their match against the Carolina Panthers.
