Veteran and NFL star Tom Brady guided the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to one of their best wins of the season over the Kansas Chiefs on Sunday, claiming the award as the MVP.
The Super Bowl 55 has come to the super end. It was a rather one sided game but still thrilling for the fans and viewers. The game took place at the Raymond James Arena. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 on Sunday. Both teams performed exceedingly well during the Super Bowl LV. The MVP award was given to veteran quarter back Tom Brady. Brady now has a record for being the holder of five Super Bowl MVP awards as well as seven Super Bowl Rings. He orchestrated great play against Patrick Mohomes and the Chiefs’ offense off the field of their play. Patrick Mohomes signed one of the most expensive sports contract in the history of sports.
His contract was 63.1 million USD for this season, one of the most expensive contracts in sports history.
This is the second time in NFL history where the Bucs were crowned the Super Bowl champions. This is the only time in NFL history where the Bucs won a game in their home ground.
Patrick Mohomes finished the game 26 of 49 for 270 yards and did not score a single touchdown. He threw two interceptions which failed to penetrate the Bucs defence.
Tom Brady also sets records for the winner of the most Super Bowl MVP awards.
