Ahead of the 2015 game, cities like Glendale are coming up with bountiful donations to help market the city in advance.

Reportedly, Glendale has offered to pay $72,000 to the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee.

The money will be paid over two years time from the Glendale Convention and Visitors Bureau, using tourism funds raised from a countywide voter-approved tax.

The host committee will use these funds to endorse Glendale minority and women-owned businesses. Not just that, the fund will allow the city to participate in a visiting CEO program, designed to attract new companies and convention business.

“Host-committee executives and city officials have had a frosty relationship in recent months as Super Bowl XLIX-related events have been scheduled in other Valley cities, and parking and hotel-room rates remain unresolved issues,” revealed AZ Central.

The Super Bowl Host Committee raises millions of dollars every year to market the game and fund related NFL-sanctioned events, book team hotel rooms and pay out for parking, security and other things.
