Police officers discovered two dead people inside a home, when they were trying to serve a search warrant in Glendale.
Officers from Phoenix Police Department were serving a search warrant in reference to child pornography at a home near 59th and Peoria avenues at around 7 p.m., according to Glendale police.
As police officers were about to enter the house, they heard a gunshot. Reaching inside, they found a man and a woman dead. No one else was injured in the home at the time.
At the moment, it is unclear why or how both the persons were killed.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s sex offender database, the address that police served a search warrant at is connected to a third level sex offender, whose crime record involved sexual conduct with a minor.
Police in Glendale are investigating the case at the moment.
