The Red Magic game pad will be released in China on September 5th. Previously, the company shared some of the key features of its upcoming gaming tablet, including details about the chipset, cooling and display. The AnTuTu score of this tablet has also been revealed. The theme and color options for the Red Magic Pad game have now been revealed. It was mentioned that the tablet will launch with two screen size options. However, the latest design makes no mention of different screen sizes. The design of the Red Magic gaming pad was revealed in an official Weibo post ahead of the tablet's launch in China on September 5th. The tablet is displayed in two colors: Dark Night and Silver Wing (translated from Chinese). Part of the back wall is transparent. The Red Magic gaming pad has a transparent cover in the vertical part of the back wall. The brand logo is in the middle of the panel and the camera unit is in the top right corner with an LED flash and a vertically adjustable RGB round light below.
The front camera slot of the Red Magic Gaming Pad is recessed in the right frame. Flat screens appear with large and uniform bezels. The power button is on the right side, and the speaker unit and the USB Type-C port are on the bottom edge. The Red Magic gaming screen is confirmed to feature a 2.8K (2880 x 1800 pixels) display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is said to be the first 3D tablet with an unarmed eye and 90 Hz AI eye tracking. Previous reports suggested that the tablet could come in 10.8-inch and 12.4-inch screen sizes. Red Magic has announced that the Red Magic gamepad is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a 10,100mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging. The tablet supports 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage and features an Android 14 based UI. The Red Magic gaming pad will feature a four-speaker system and 9-layer PAD Magic Cooling ICE 2.0 cooling technology (translated from Chinese). As for the optical system, this camera is equipped with a rear camera sensor and a front camera sensor with 50 and 20 million pixels respectively.
