On Thursday, the Twitter rival was launched, named Threads app. Threads is based on Instagram, we can send messages, follow, post links, text updates, give replies, report messages and can also join public conversations. Meta after the launch said, “Our vision with Threads is to take what Instagram does best and expand that to text, creating a positive and creative space to express your ideas”. Threads app was launched in over 100 countries for ios and Android users.
Twitter has a 59 percent of its revenue hike last month with many modifications and restrictions. Twitter has even restricted its users for scroll-down messages and it also learned that in future Twitter is planning to give access to the newsdesk only to the blue tick subscribers. With all the changes now Twitter has a rival in the market with Mark Zuckerberg Thread. Thread is a direct competitor for Twitter.
