Twitter has unveiled the improvised its ‘quote tweet’ functionality, which enables the users to write their message in complete 116 characters alongside with the quoted tweet or original tweet. Earlier the users were allowed to utilize the remained space or left over characters to express their opinion.

The revamped ‘quote tweet’ is available for iPhone and web users only, the company has taken chance to say that Android users be given the facility soon. Twitter made the announcement with the tweet, “Say more with revamped quote Tweet! Rolling out on iPhone and web, coming soon to Android.

The new feature is an upgraded one to the existing quote tweet facility as new quote tweets will be as simple as retweeting a user’s comment with a link to the original tweet. The TechCrunch mentioned the drawback in the upgraded one as, the original tweet and comment cannot be merged or embedded together as in the past.
