Indian Film Industry has witnessed huge changes in terms of commercial aspects as well as the run of the films. As the business has been expanded much, the movies are able to get wide release and the makers have been playing safe within a week of the movie’s release. A film completing 100 days has become rare and now Mahesh Babu’s recent flick Srimanthudu has done it in these days. Koratala Siva directorial emerged as the biggest hit in the career of Mahesh and it surprised the trade analysts with the commercial figures.

Srimanthudu emerged as the second highest grosser of Tollywood till date and the innovative concept of village adoption impressed the audience big time. Many actors and politicians have turned up to adopt small villages after the release of Srimanthudu which shows the impact that the film has brought. Srimanthudu completed 100 days in 15 centres all over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Sruthi Haasan played the female lead in the film and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. Naveen Yerneni, CV Mohan and Y Ravi Shankar produced Srimanthudu on Mythri Movie Makers banner.
