SS Rajamouli is the country's top director and he is busy carving out RRR from the past three years. Two top Tollywood stars NTR and Ram Charan are playing the lead roles in this high voltage action entertainer that is set in the backdrop of 1920s. The shoot of RRR came to a halt because of the ongoing coronavirus second wave. There are speculations that the climax portions of the film are still pending and it would take long time for the shoot to be completed. There is no clarity from the makers as they are tight-lipped due to the pandemic.
The latest update says that two songs from the movie are currently pending and they will be shot without breaks after the coronavirus pandemic calms down. One of the songs will be shot on NTR and Ram Charan. The other song will be shot on Charan and Alia Bhatt. RRR is made on a budget of Rs 450 crores and the theatrical, non-theatrical deals of RRR are closed recently. NTR, Ram Charan will be seen playing Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju respectively and Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran will be playing other important roles. DVV Entertainment are the producers and the film will release during summer 2022.
