NTR was last seen in Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava that released in 2018. Exactly four years after the film's release, his next outing RRR directed by SS Rajamouli is hitting the screens. NTR says Rajamouli is a perfectionist and he said that he along with Ram Charan took 15-18 takes for Naatu Naatu song. Rajamouli recorded the steps and he used to freeze it, rewind and forward told NTR. Tarak says that the comments for the song are majorly about the sync and this is what Rajamouli observed on the sets of the song. This is why Rajamouli is the country's best director admits NTR.

Speaking about his future projects, NTR said that his next project in the direction of Koratala Siva will commence shoot from February 2022 and the pre-production work is happening for now. Tarak says that the film is a revenge drama. Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts are the producers of this untitled film. NTR also signed his next in the direction of Prashanth Neel and the shoot commences from October 2022. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers of this high voltage action entertainer. NTR is also holding talks with Buchi Babu and Atlee for his future films.
