Young and talented actor Adivi Sesh worked on Major for three years. The film is the biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who got martyred in the Mumbai attacks after a huge battle. Major is made on a huge budget and is directed by Sashikiran Tikka. Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi, Murali Sharma played other important roles. Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and A+S Movies produced Major. The trailer of the film is released and it is promising, action-packed and is high on technical standards.

Adivi Sesh shines in the role of Major and the film also offers a drama. Prakash Raj and Revathi played the proud parents of Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the film. Major trailer keeps up good expectations on the film. A massive Taj Mahal Palace set is constructed for the film and a major portion is shot here. Major is heading for release on June 3rd in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
