Nandamuri Kalyanram has been struggling for success and he took a long break. He is making his comeback with Bimbisara, a big-budget film and a periodic drama that narrates the story of a ruthless king Bimbisara. Vashissta is making his directorial debut with Bimbisara and Catherine, Samyuktha are the heroines. Kalyanram will be seen in a dual role in the film and the trailer impressed everyone. The songs composed by MM Keeravani too are on the top of the music charts. Bimbisara is made on a budget of Rs 35 crores and Kalyanram's home banner NTR Arts produced Bimbisara.
The makers closed the non-theatrical rights for Rs 30 crores and the theatrical rights are now sold for Rs 15.60 crores. Top producer and distributor Dil Raju is releasing and distributing Bimbisara across the Telugu states. Special premiere shows are planned in Hyderabad and the ticket prices are slashed. Kalyanram's performance is expected to be the major highlight of Bimbisara. The film will head for release on Friday and it would clash with Dulquer Salman's Sita Ramam.
