Kannada film Kantara continues to have a sensational run at the box-office. Tollywood had ten new releases on Friday but they failed to have an impact on the weekend numbers of Kantara. Except Allu Sirish' Urvasivo Rakshasivo, all the films failed badly to register minimum openings and the word of mouth is quite poor for these projects. Kantara had a sensational Saturday across the Telugu states. In Hindi too, the film maintained great strength after the new releases fell flat. The film is unstoppable in Karnataka and is one of the all-time biggest hits among the Kannada films.

Kantara is a nativity film based in Karnataka. Rishab Shetty directed and he played the lead role in this action thriller. KGF makers Hombale Films backed the film and Kantara is minting gold at the box-office. The film will leave everyone in huge profits. Ten films released in Telugu states on Friday and all the films have been struggling badly. Allu Sirish's Urvasivo Rakshasivo and Santosh Shoban's Like, Share & Subscribe are the first considerations. Chinthamani Sonthamogudu, Jetty, Bomma Blockbuster, Saradhi, Thaggedhele, Aakasam, Banaras and Pratibimbalu are the other releases. Kantara is expected to soon cross the magical mark of Rs 500 crores very soon.
