Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is the latest national crush of this generation. The actress is busy with films in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. Her portrayala as Srivalli in Pushpa: The Rise made her a national star and the actress is banking on them. She is also busy with several commercials and films. The actress signed a women-centric film and it has been launched officially in a grand manner in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The film is titled Rainbow and the regular shoot commences very soon. Shantaruban is making his debut as director with this bilingual.

Dream Warrior Pictures will produce this interesting film. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan will be seen in a crucial role in this women-centric film. Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind and Amala Akkineni launched the film and they attended the event as special guests. Justin Prabhakaran will score the music and background score for Rainbow. SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu are the producers. The film is expected to have its release next year. Rashmika is also busy with a couple of Tamil and Telugu films. She will soon join the sets of Nithiin's next film directed by Venky Kudumula. Mythri Movie Makers will produce this untitled film.
