The TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu who has kick started his election campaign for by-polls to 18 assembly constituencies wis touring West Godavari district. Babu’s tour—in this district—which starts on April 18 will conclude on April 20.  Today and tomorrow Babu is scheduled to tour Polavaram and Narasapuram constituencies. Besides taking on the ruling Congress, Babu is likely to be highlighting several issues including the Polavaram project.

It has to be mentioned here that Babu has reached Gannavaram airport in Vijayawada this morning to arrive at West Godavari district.  It may be noted that TDP is trying its best for attracting the farmers and others in the constituencies where by-polls are round the corner.  The party is not cornering the Congress but is also trying to cry foul on the YSR Congress party.

Earlier, TDP questioned as why the main accused in the Jagal disproportionate case was not arrested despite he being the main accused.  TDP also questioned as to why Chiranjeevi—who became the Congress man by dissolving PRP into Congress—left the hopes of Tirtupati people in vain.  TDP also alleged that the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government was inefficient.

With so many points, TDP that is going into the public, is most likely to appeal the people. We have to await and see how many seats the TDP will sweep. (Phani)
