The union minister Vayalar Ravi, who was deputed by the UPA chairperson to look into AP affairs, has made it clear that the main agenda of his tour was by-polls. After holding wide range of consultations with several ministers and party key activists, Vayalar Ravi briefed the media about his tour.

As a part of collection the opinion of leaders on by-poll strategy, Vayalar Ravi will tour East and West Godavari districts on Thursday. Sources said that many leaders have so far urged Vayalar Ravi to take necessary steps for wide-publicity of their developmental programmes. The leaders have reportedly asked the minister to ensure that party activities move at a faster pace.

Vayalar Ravi has also said that he spoke to the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief Bothsa Satyanarayana. He said there were no differences between the duo. He has exuded confidence that PCC chief and the chief minister will together take forward the party in the state.

Mr. Ravi said he would not take anything on party alliances. Earlier, Vayalar Ravi said that he didn’t speak anything about by-polls so far and soon speculations were in air.(phani)
