Arousing with a great horror, three bogies of train number 12363 Kolkata- Haldibari Triweekly InterCity Express were known to get derailed in Birbhum district close to the West Bengal-Jharkhand border on Tuesday afternoon.
Now coming to the accident, it happened around 1 pm between Nalhati Junction and Chatra while the superfast train had begun its journey from Kolkata Chitpur at 9.05 am and was scheduled to reach Haldibari in Cooch Behar in north Bengal at 20.25 pm.
Senior railway officials rushed to the spot to learn with certainty about the situation. Fortunately, there are no such reports about any casualties until now.
In spite of the fact that more details are awaited.
