A 19-year-old man has been arrested on Wednesday for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl in Phoenix. Derrick James Shepard forced himself on the 15-year-old girl, according to Maricopa County court records.

According to the police, Shepard knew that the girl was a minor, but continued with his assault.

Due to the nature of the allegation, Shepard has been put in prison without a bond. The man has been taken into custody on suspicion of committing sexual assault and sexual conduct with a minor girl.

Last weekend, the victim in her police complaint, stated that Shepard made sexual contact with her despite her resistance. He even prevented her physically from trying to stop his act.

Police record reveal that Shepard admitted to sexually assaulting the victim. Shepard said that he forced the victim into oral sexual contact. According to the police he also had sexual intercourse with the victim several times. All the while the victim had been telling him no or shaking her head to tell of her disagreement for any sexual contact.
